Some of the better coffee in the area. There's 2 Starbucks's and 1 Tullys within half a block of where I work, but I'd rather make the trip down here and get some coffee that doesn't taste burnt when I have the time and it's not pouring outside.
Significantly better quality coffee than the other bigger chains and they have butterhorns - these pastries that are flaky and amazing, with a slight hint of cinnamon. Their macchiatos are closer to traditional Italian macchiatos, so be careful if you order that (not the same as Starbucks). Since this is in the Expedia building and Seattle-lites love coffee, it can get super busy but don't be scared if there's a long line... they move pretty efficiently.
Out of all the Ladros, this is definitely the worst I've been to, I'm not saying it's bad but the others are...
Read moreI absolutely love the coffee here. I get the maple cinnamon hemp milk latte and sometimes pair it with the rhubarb oat bar if I also need a snack. I love that they make their own baked goods and offer a few vegan / plant-based options such as the oat bar, mixed berry muffin, and chocolate bread. Their coffee is incredibly smooth and the latte I usually order is always top notch. It's also pretty cute that they always have a question of the day on this little board to the right of the register and I think if you're the first person to get the answer right they give you a free coffee. Read moreI came in for a pretty simple drink at a time when there was maybe one other person in the store. After close to ten minute wait while the worker tried to figure out how to use the register he asked to run my card again and proceeded to double charge me. Which would have been a fine honest mistake however when I emailed cafe ladro to solve this they did not reply. After a second email they replied asking for some info. I responded almost immediately and a week and a half after the double transaction they still have yet to fix this or respond to my fourth email. Whatever, who cares about customer...
