I've been to this location several times and have never had a problem. In fact I often rave about the place to colleagues and recommend their services. On Saturday night a friend and I decided to go there for dinner and drinks. As we entered the establishment we were met by a lovely young man who checked us in, after we returned from the restroom And walked into the front door of the bar area we were met with animosity by an employee there by the name of Sylvano. He was very rude and off putting from the very first interaction we had with him. He aggressively approached us and asked if we had a tabled, and when we said no he did not tell us that we could be placed on the waitlist and instead told us to get out of the establishment after he berated us and tried to dismiss us from the lounge after asking us if we had made a reservation, also lying through his teeth after I told him I knew there were no reservations still not disclosing the waitlist but instead telling us we had to leave for no reason at all! When My friends nor I have ever been treated in such a disrespectful and belittling manner, keep in mind we had literally entered and had not been told about a waitlist, we simply stopped by the bathroom and were met by him upon exit. We had an interaction with another very nice employee who apologized for his behavior when witnessing it all, and offered for us to come back for free drinks and showed us the waitlist, we decided to leave and declined instead. On our way out, as we turned to walk out the door Sylvano saw that we were exiting and started to harass us again. he continued to follow us harassing us the entire time to the elevator, threatening us and speaking on his walkie-talkie telling someone to come arrest us and trespass us, and that we had to leave. Keep in mind we were already on our way out after talking to the nice gentleman, by CHOICE because we did nothing wrong to be treated like s@&$ by him. He behaved unlike anyone I've ever seen before in a respectable establishment that prides themselves with customer service. I did have to defend myself and my friend against him because we felt threatened by this man following us and harassing us so I had a few choice words for him as we continued to walk away as he hackled and harassed us the entire distance to the elegant or. He only stopped when we had finally entered the elevator after he had followed us from the establishment to the elevator. I think this establishment will loose business because of this rude man who harassed customers and follows them and threatens them for absolutely no reason other than possible targeting because of our skin color? Oh yeah, we are black if you didn’t guess! I guess being Hispanic means you can harass and threaten black women and no one will stop you. It must have gave him a power trip, it was sickening that no one stepped in to intervene and tell him to leave us alone. Only to offer us free drinks which we came there to PAY for along with dinner. But his aggression and threats were not stopped by anyone in the establishment. ANYWAS I figured I should warn others about what this man is doing to customers of color, and especially women. I also wanted to make it cleat that his behavior is not only tolerated but completely acceptable by the rest of the staff. He needs to have repercussions for his behavior. I will continue to follow up with this to his superiors and I am sure there is camera footage to show his harassing demeanor and that he followed us after we asked him to leave us alone dozens of times. I even said I would called the police if he did not leave us alone and stop harassing and following us. He should not be employed anywhere with the way that he threatens and...
Read moreMy recent visit to the W Living Room Bar in Bellevue was nothing short of a nightmare. I couldn't be more dissatisfied with the overall experience.
To start, the drinks were a complete letdown. It's astonishing how they managed to get even the basics wrong. It's as if mixology was a foreign concept to the bartender. My taste buds were assaulted by poorly concocted beverages that left much to be desired.
The staff's attitude was equally disappointing. Their demeanor was nothing short of rude and dismissive. It was evident that customer satisfaction was not a priority for them. I attempted to re-enter the bar after stepping out for a smoke, only to be met with an unapologetic refusal. My girlfriend was left inside, wondering what had happened. This level of incompetence and lack of basic courtesy is inexcusable.
The lack of re-entry policy is simply absurd. It's inconceivable that a reputable establishment would implement such a draconian rule. It shows a complete disregard for the comfort and convenience of their patrons.
In summary, my experience at W Living Room Bar was nothing short of a disaster. From subpar drinks to abysmal customer service and a nonsensical re-entry policy, it's safe to say I won't be returning anytime soon. Save yourself the trouble and find a more hospitable establishment for...
Read moreI highly recommend avoiding this place because i had a truly terrible experience
Be advised that if you find yourself here by some stroke of bad luck, you may not leave to smoke or do anything else or you will nonsensically be denied re-entry. The DJ was possibly the worst i have ever heard in my life. Everything is greatly overpriced. They brought our food to a different table & we didn’t know until an hour later; then we had to wait at the bar for 30 minutes to get refunded after they refused to make another plate. The worst part was the overbearing, wannabe cops they call security. Literally leaning over us for reasons we still cannot figure out because they refused to tell us why when we asked if this was normal treatment. Strangely, they leer over people yet don’t seem to mind when their friends grope women right in front of them. We watched a woman get upset at a man she didn’t know who grabbed her by the waist, security guy with thick glasses watching the whole time & smirking. Seriously, don’t waste your time, money or energy here if you...
