Awful experience. We're on the road coming back home from Thanksgiving with family. Hit this location right at lunchtime. Didn't look busy from the outside. Walked in and pretty much went straight up to the counter, which was a little bit shocking. Chick-fil-A's in the DFW area definitely aren't like that. Although after this experience I know the reason why this location really wasn't that busy. I went up to the counter, my daughter and wife who ordered first, and Dad last (as per usual š). Looked at the girl straight in the face, told her that I had a reward to use that expires in 2 days. Told her what I wanted, scanned the QR code, paid with the app, got the receipt only to find out that she charged me for a meal, $11 at that. Asked why I was charged for a meal when I didn't want the fries (I guess I'm one of the few that doesn't really like Chick-fil-A's fries). Heck if I wanted a side, I would have ordered a fruit cup. She looked at me with a deer in the headlights look. At this point I should have asked for the manager but my name isn't Karen. When you really don't have anything nice to say, it's best to just turn and walk away. That's pretty much what I did, although my displeasure was certainly voiced to her and she could definitely see the disappointment on my face. No one really cared because the food was tossed on the table and I never saw a manager. Welcome to customer service in the 21st century. This is actually the first time that the nuggets were mostly all fry and very little chicken, and my wife's nugget Cobb salad was the same except with brown edges on the salad. My daughter is nine, really doesn't like their fries either but she ate the chicken nuggets and really did not complain although she pulled out one of her nuggets and made a comment about how "weird" it looked. $29 mostly to be thrown down in the trash as the fries were not eaten, half of the nuggets were fried pieces of junk, and over half of my wife's salad. Nasty. The only thing we really should have paid for was the kid's meal, and that's being nice about it. I am a former Platinum Chick-fil-A member, current Chick-fil-A member for countless years. I have visited a dozen plus Chick-fil-A locations all throughout Texas from Houston to South Texas to DFW and this is the first really terrible experience we have ever had with any location. When you just want a quick meal from a notoriously consistent chain and you get this..... awesome!! We got back on I-35 partially hangry and wasted more money at the Ranger Travel Station down the way. If you're going to stop at a Chick-fil-A, I would certainly bypass this one unless you're a glutton for punishment. Biggest waste of money, and ridiculously disappointed. Chick-fil-A, do better! This location is terrible! It's sad when you reject my application for an owner operator but will let someone like this own one or two locations (as the billboard 30 mi south of this location seemed to indicate that both locations were owned by the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNOT CELIAC FRIENDLY. Do not expect Chick-fil-Aās typical professionalism in handling allergies here.
This is a very poorly managed location with staff that have clearly not been properly trained. By far the worst Chick-fil-A I have ever been to. Go to the one by Baylor instead.
The customer facing staff has clearly not been trained in how to use their ordering system - I had multiple employees take maybe 10 minutes walking the entire drive thru line trying to figure out how to input basic orders that no other location has ever had an issue with. Even after that, the order was almost entirely incorrect at the window. Our items were almost all incorrect, we were charged for items we did not order, and we received a few other peopleās random orders as well.
The worst part is we had some items for Celiac. Chick-fil-A is great about this and has a procedure for the kitchen to change gloves and prepare grilled chicken in a separate station because even contact with a surface that has bread crumbs on it can cause a reaction. We were given sandwiches on full-wheat bread at the window. We made it clear this was incorrect and the sandwiches would have to be remade and it seemed like they understood and took care of it, remaking the sandwiches without the buns according to the company gluten free policyā¦.until we got home and saw bread residue all over the chicken. They did not remake the sandwiches, they simply removed the bread and shoved the existing contents into a āallergyā container to make it look like they had remade them for an allergy.
Really terrible practice and reflects either the total absence of training or wanton disregard for company-wide...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJasmine and I think AJ Burgess were who I communicated with. Jasmine kept turning the menu while I was trying to read, she did not watch me the customer, but was instead staring at her screen, I would advise, perhaps watching the customer to see if they are still reading before turning your menu away. Then Jasmine walked away and didnāt even tell me why and I said wait Iām still trying to read the menu and she said no weāre moving forward the cars ahead move forward I said, but you didnāt tell me what you were doing. You just walked away. Then I advised her that my dash camera was on and saw that she did this. Then the manager asked me if I use my phone to record her and I showed the manager the last image on my photo gallery was of some thing I did with my daughter earlier in the day, and I did not use my phone to record anything. I only told Jasmine my dash cam was recording her. Please donāt walk away when Iām reading the menu and if youāre going to please say that letās take a moment to move forward and let me know what youāre doing. Please donāt turn the menu away from me when Iām still reading it even if youāre just trying to type in my order, just tell me youāre turning the menu to the side for a moment so that you can type. Otherwise, I feel like itās really rude overall I will never come here again and Iām super disappointed in Jasmine. Iām also surprised that she had the word trainer on...
