The meatball subs is by far the best thing at this cart! I've definitely had better pizza, but never have I had a meatball sub like this one! Also... the guy could atleast smile once or twice, and try not to be sarcastic. his attitude kept me from tipping.. and it's not the first time with him. Be polite to your customers. They are the reason you make money and stay in business. I still enjoyed the sub so much that I will go back but only for that reason but I won't go often.

First off I wrote this 10 months ago and already got a personal message on FACEBOOK from you MONTHS ago... I have tried the pizza and still don't like it. I haven't seen said rude person since I wrote the review which is good. But I also don't go out of my way to go there anymore after your inappropriately messaged on social media about my review. Abe Capanna’s Detroit Style Pizza in Bend, Oregon is hands-down one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my entire life. No exaggeration. From the very first bite, I knew I had found something special.

The crust is outrageously good—crispy, buttery edges with that signature caramelized cheese that Detroit-style pizza is famous for. It’s thick and airy inside but perfectly crunchy on the outside. The sauce is rich and flavorful, the cheese is melty perfection, and the toppings are fresh and generously loaded.

This isn’t just good pizza—it’s next-level. You can taste the passion and craftsmanship in every slice. I’ve eaten pizza all over the country, and Abe Capanna’s easily stands toe-to-toe with the best of the best.

If you’re in Bend and love pizza, run, don’t walk. Abe Capanna’s is a must-try. I’m already planning my next trip back.

🔥 Absolute perfection. 10/10....

I was in the mood for a meatball hero and wanted to try a different place . I looked at the menu and reviews through Yelp and came up with Abe Capanna's. The meatball parmesan hero was described very well. It was handcrafted meatballs with a whole lot of cheese and a fluffy hero beard. The beard had been grilled a little bit with the cheese melted into parts of the bread. My only little gripe is the ratio of meatball to the size of the hero. Could use an extra 2 meatballs (comes with 4 medium size meatballs). Everything tasted great. The meatballs were tender and flavorful. Mozzarella was gooey, chewy, and delicious. The Marinara sauce was good too. I will have to try their pizza next time. Have never tried Detroit's style pizza. Being a native New Yorker, I am pretty fussy about my pizza. Have had deep dish Chicago style and Sicilian style from New York. New York is the reining champ. Let's see if Abe...
