I when yesterday 1/4/24 to have breakfast with my 3 kids and my husband we where very excited to spend some time in the snow before we headed out to the snow we stop at el rincón to have breakfast we walk in there and there was a gentleman cleaning tables and he approached us and said you can go right ahead and sit down as Iām walking towards the table this lady came to me very rudely and said itās a 20 minute wait you can wait here. So why would the gentlemen said go right ahead and take that table no communicating between workers first of all also they start arguing with the busser boy and the chef and we can clearly heard them saying itās a party of 5 they need to wait she said Iām the manager here they need to wait let me do my job and the chef super unorganized services is so bad I have to said first all they need a host to sit guest second of all they need to have more organize table numbers would help as well me and my family felt so unwelcome their we wanted to leave it horrible experience ever she has no work ethics's super unprofessional we arenāt there to eat for free we pay $100 dollars for our tap and in top of it we have her a tip a tips she did not deserve but I know it share and the busse boy deserve it me and my kids felt very un happy she also stated it was too busy I counted the tables and it was 4 tables busy total of table look like 15 tables in the restaurant Iām not sure who is who there but what it seem to be there was two server and one busser boy I didnāt catch her name but she was there 1/5/24 at noon im sorry to say but your team for this restaurant needs a lot of training or this restaurant will close down I also felt she was racist with us we are Latinos and the restaurant she works is Mexican food if she donāt like Latinos maybe she not in the right job !!!!!!!! I will never go back there again also when we got seated we noticed she didnāt make no one else wait everyone else that came in whee seated as they walk in and really felt this was something racists against us I would like for the owner of the restaurant to know what kind of employees he has running his restaurant as my self that I owned a company and I know how my workers are the ones that represent my company I make sure they are well trained never judge a book...

We visited El Rincon this morning and were truly impressed. The location is super convenientāright near all the local Big Bear spotsāand from the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed. The energy was great!
The young man at the counter was kind and professional, and the young lady assisting him was just as lovely. From placing our order over the phone to picking it up, the customer service was consistently warm and efficient. Itās always refreshing to experience genuine hospitality.
Now, letās talk foodāabsolutely delicious. My husband ordered the chilaquiles de mole with chorizo, and I chose mine with carne asada for some added protein. Both were full of flavor and made fresh to order. The frijoles fritos had the perfect touch of spiceājust enough to elevate the dish without overpowering it. Our son enjoyed The Snow Platter, which came with eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, and a pancakeāit was classic, hearty, and done just right. We also shared Mamaās potatoes with chorizo, and they were packed with flavor and generously portioned.
Everything tasted homemade and carefully prepared. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in their food and presentation. The overall experienceāfrom the atmosphere to the food and serviceāwas truly enjoyable.
Weāll absolutely be returning the next time weāre in Big Bear. Highly recommend for anyone looking for fresh, flavorful food and great...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey skimp on all the meat and beans for dishes. Obviously they canāt afford to give out decent portions of anything for the price of their food. The flavor of their food is okay and if you want Mexican food with better taste and better portions go to azteca. I tried to tell them about the faults to my dish and they offered to remake my food then tried to charge me again for the second dish. Overall there are many better choices in big bear and if they donāt satisfy honestly wait to be back down the hill to find way better Mexican food restaurants who charge less for bigger portions.
I am going to to into the airforce this Tuesday and to add I did usually get the California burrito during the mornings I would work next to you, but as of a few days ago the burritos I got had way less meat than other times Iāve gotten before. So I tried the bean and cheese burrito I understand it would be smaller, but when I ate it it was 90%cheese 10% beans and I definitely would rather spend my money to get burritos that have an even amount of meat or beans instead of the cheap filling you use to make the burrito slightly bigger aesthetically. Still in conclusion there are plenty of places that would charge you less or the same for better portions if you wanted better authentic...
