Starbucks overall have ridiculously overpriced pretentiously named coffee and tea names and sizes. Everything about Starbucks is pretentious, not just the names and sizes of their teas and coffee and their ridiculous prices. The workers are pretentious, their customers are pretentious too. As a customer, you are so cool just because you pay $5 dollars or more for a coffee or tea, and you get to use pretentious names for the coffee or teas you order. The pretentious names of sizes are inaccurate too. Grande is large in Spanish, that is accurate. Venti, means the number 20, in Italian, not large or extra large.
Some Starbucks are not as pretentious as others, however, this Starbucks near Edgewater Mall is the absolute worst in pretentious, and their lack of friendliness is absurdly bad--- they are like robots and they treat you like you are a robot too. I will never go to this Starbucks again. If you wonder why I still occasionally go to some select Starbucks, it is to laugh at their silly pretentiousness...
Read moreI love starbucks and always go to this location since it is around the corner from where I live. I’ve never had a bad experience until this evening with a young male worker. He got an attitude with me asking “are you ready to order yet?” again like he was impatient. I was reading the menu to my 6 year old son. After that, he kept cutting me off when I was ordering our drinks. When we got them, they all tasted off. My venti iced matcha latte with extra vanilla was really chalky as if they added too many scoops of matcha powder. You can see it and taste it. Venti hot vanilla latte barely had any vanilla in it, it was extremely strong. Paradise drink was extremely watered down. Also, told him my name was Kristen for the order and the name on the cups are “Tritqn”. I’m so unhappy & I know Kendra, the manager, would be unhappy with the service and quality of drinks were. Shake my head. I’ll start making a drive and going to the pass...
Read moreThe D’Iberville store in Mississippi diluted my refresher with water. I ordered my refresher with lemonade. I saw the girl take a pitcher of refresher and added water to the acai. No measurements . Than made my drinks with lemonade and the pink drinks. Starbucks is going down hill. I questioned the worker and she informed me that they always dilute the acia. That’s not how they made them from the beginning because I have seen them poor from the box. She then informed me I could get my money back or she would make them again. I already waited a hour for my mobile order. Sorry we short handed. Then don’t take orders.
So I notified Starbucks and they were said to hear this was happening. And they notified the stores and also gave me a $20 refund for that day. So if you see them diluting the acia let the manager know this is not what the company is saying they should do. Thank...
