McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Blue Springs

Great spud not sure what it was as it was a free spud. I ordered a bacon spud that I ate while there. My wife had soup and salad. There was a mix-up on our order and the girl at the counter said she could give us a free spud. I did not specify any type. It was out of this world good. We thought the receipt said spud ole. I called today to try to figure it out and the person said they did not have spud olds. She said only Taco John’s had potatoes poles. I will try to explain what it looked like as I want to buy it again and again! The sud was splayed open and had a dark brown sauce tasting little like honey. There was also a whitish sauce under the dark brown sauce. The dark brown sauce looked like Enchilada Sauce, I at first thought is was dark bean sauce, except for a taste of honey. It had cheese and about 6 or 7 Jalepenos. If told duplicate this I am sure you would have lots asking for it. When I called the restaurant the person could not figure it out. I don’t think it was BBQ pulled pork but it does have a honey BBQ sauce. Is anyone there that can help me with this, I cannot find my receipt. We were there in afternoon between 1:30 and 3:00 PM on the first day you were open. The manager came and talked to us, I am a double amputee. I also belong to the rewards club. First time at this location, overall service was prompt and friendly. while at the register, the wife asked about the size of the soup bowl vs the cup. Cashier sighed, rolled her eyes and turned to someone on back line who held up the two containers. I'm sure I've done that before, just aware not to do that standing in front of a customer. The meal was great, portions good and the table service was fantastic. I didn't get our servers name but he was very prompt and polite, A+!

The sandwinch actually had meat on it, unlike the Independence location that puts a tiny pinch in the middle so it looks like it's all under the bread. the Blue springs location actually had it all there.

Value, not really any...on the pricey side for what you get. Better value elsewhere but part of that price is the new...

Absolutely horrible service. They took my rewards off my account but didn't actually use it on my order. Then i double confirmed what i ordered after realizing the receipt was wrong they claimed it was right but when i got my order lord behold it was WRONG. I will continue to drive to the independence location to get food even though this one is around the corner from me. The bad service and teenage attitude isn't worth my time. O and thats a spud max. Lmao what a joke and waste of my money o and yes i paid extra for extra meat which is...
