I had high expectations from this place and went in super hungry but it did not meet expectations in multiple ways. Instead of an over arching verdict, i’ll dive into the details. I got a plate with chicken, cauliflower and moussaka as my sides. 1. Rice - the rice was undercooked. I eat at multiple Mediterranean joints in a week and I know when the rice sticks under your molars. 2. Chicken was warm and well cooked. 3. Both sides were ice cold. Keeping in mind that these are warm sides (fried cauli and moussaka), they tasted bland. Very unprofessional for whoever designed the menu and decided to serve it cold. 4. The plate comes with 2 sauces by default which I was not told. The only visible sauce is tzatziki and I got just that, only to realise it’s a $2 up charge. They did offer me the free sauce after but it was a waste for me. Honestly, your first sauce should be free. 5. The pita was probably warmed once in the morning but it was so hard to bite that I had to throw it away. 6. Quantity - quantity is decent and it did fill me up however I wont be returning as the joint lacks quality. I hope the owner/chef is open to feedback and looks into these things. I would not recommend this place as a local guide until they improve.

The place looks clean and inviting. Staff was friendly. Food was disappointing. My daughter ordered the Greek power bowl and I ordered the fattoush salad with beef and lamb shawarma with 2 sides of baba ganoush and spicy potatoes. The potatoes were half cooked, some pieces were still super crunchy. The shawarma meat was super dry and under seasoned, tasted like they were a couple of days old. Spent $32 of what was sub-par not delicious Mediterranean fast food. We could have gone to chipotle or poke bowl places next door and have gotten more satisfying predictable fare

One bathroom “out of service”. Other bathroom toilet doesn’t automatically flush normally and the handle/button (whatever it was) is broken off. I asked a staff member how to flush the toilet and she picked up the roll of toilet paper that was sitting on the counter next to the sink and pressed it against the broken toilet flusher button… and there was no toilet paper in the toilet paper holder. 😂 So I’m supposed to use the nasty wet roll on the counter that was just used to flush the toilet? Wtf

Prior to this visit I’ve always been a big fan, given I work 2 min walk away. I ordered my usual rice plate with double chicken so I’m very familiar with the average protein portions. It was a busy time around noon and I ordered extra chicken — as the plate made it down the line of employees I saw one scoop of chicken get placed into my bowl so I double checked with the person that I had Double Chicken to which I was rudely told Yes in a condescending tone. Next to my coworkers double chicken plate, you could clearly tell the significant difference. A shame that bad service could overshadow otherwise amazing food, and I will definitely be exploring the other plentiful lunch options...
