Highly recommend!! This is our second time eating at this establishment prior to hitting Fenway for a Sox game. Each time we have come, we have been a large group (14+), and they have been able to accomdate us all. Buffalo chicken dip was AMAZING. Fish & chips portion was well worth the money, and the pulled pork sandwich with pimento cheese sauce is a must try! Our most recent visit we had Melinda as our waitress. She was highly attentive, and went above and beyond and asked to get our children's food order put in first to keep them placent while the adults all had our adult beverages. As busy as it was, when she noticed the kitchen delivering a dish that was not made as requested, she stopped them immediately to have it corrected before it got to the table. It's very nice to see the owner making his rounds and not hesitate to stop and chat with the patrons. (And him sharing the Boston Red Sox World Championship ring was an added bonus!). Thank you Johnnie, we'll see you again on our next trip to Fenway!!

Fenway Johnnie’s is a restaurant and bar nearest to the ballpark that comes from John Caron of West End Johnnie’s, near The Garden. At his newer (2-years old) Fenway spot, you will find superb and succulent meatballs in a great marinara sauce, and a smoked gouda burger. Substantial entrees include one of the best preparation of salmon I have tasted – highly recommended. They also have the best bar and lounge closest to Fenway Park, with about a zillion TVs. Reasonably priced and amazing dishes with stellar service. Strongly recommend Fenway Johnnie’s for a good dinner near Fenway Park, before, during or after a game. Service is super quick and attentive. Late night it turns into a nightclub with some of the best music and night life in the area. Great bands and DJs! Fenway Johnnie’s is re-open with an outdoor patio, and a reggae brunch each Sunday. I give this new location on Brookline Avenue a 5-Star rating.

It was a perfect place to have a dinner before the game. Food is on par with my expectation (decent bar food), atmosphere was fantastic, and crews are friendly. I got a hoagie without buns and drumsticks. Only thing I didn’t like was pickles. They need to service better pickles.

OPEN: That's a keyword these days, as restaurants try to re-coup from the pandemic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Fenway Johnnie's - it re-opened this week - after 4 months shuttered - and I couldn't wait to get back. I always feel welcomed here.

LOCATION: Only steps from Fenway Park, here you can get real food before or after a Red Sox Game. Great lounge atmosphere plus bar seating with some good seating in the additional dining room. Lots of big TVs, sports posters and artwork surround the rooms. Not just bar food, but a choice of entrees make Johnnie's a little different, and a little better than neighboring restaurants.

FOOD: Probably the best tasting salmon dinner I have had in a long while. Preparation is key, and this entree was done right - not hard or over-cooked - this Pan seared salmon came with Lyonnaise potatoes, and green beans served with a great lemon beurre-blanc sauce. Delicious!

DRINKS: Best beer and liquor selection - a full bar - with bartenders who know how to make a great cocktail. Igor and Dana stand out.

FAMILY: Johnnie's is large enough to bring your family or friends for a get-together near Fenway Park. The tables are big, with enough room for everyone. Best yet, you will always be treated like family here - from the Johnnie's family. Treat yourself and family to some of the best restaurant service in Boston - friendly, professional and sharp. As I keep saying: "I...

I was there with my two friends Friday and experienced the rudest service ever. We were searching for seats at the bar. The hostess, who was very nice, informed us that we could go to the downstairs bar to look for seats. We went downstairs and there were some open tables. I wasn’t sure if the bar tables were there for the taking, so I went over to an employee and said word for word, “Hi. Can I ask you a question? If we get drinks can we sit here or is that not allowed?” And he responds in the rudest tone ever (I wish I could imitate it through writing), “As the hostess told you upstairs, NO you cannot”. I was a little put off by how he said it, but I said “okay” and started walking away to leave and he repeated, “Like the hostess told you NO you cannot.” First off I was walking away, so why did he have to repeat himself so harshly? Second, the hostess upstairs never told us that and he wasn’t there for the conversation, so how would he know what she said?? I was just asking a simple question. A simple “no” would...
