Ok. We were in boston for a short period of time and we obviously visited quincy market place. As we were getting hungry we searched for a good restaurant to appease our hunger. We found this restaurant and decided to buy what was called the pulled turkey sandwich. Miguel, our cook, started violently beating our turkey with two enormous steel spatulas whilst releasing a barberic battle cry ( somdthing like (AGHHHHHHHHH ALAHUOAKBAR AGHH). However we thought nothing of this at the time, and paid for our sandwich (which btw, was ruthlessly stabbed by Miguel multiple times with a cheap plastic fork which we concluded waz goat feces scented). It is only when we got to a seat after searching for 12 minutes exactly, and by being ruddly explusdd from a public food court by an enraged mexican man, that we discovered our monstrosity of a sandwich tasted like regurgitated sewage. It fell apart in our hands and we had to search 20 minutes to find a bathroom. The spiciness of this horrendous sandwich made us thoroughly clean out our mouths with pure petrol. We then went to an irish diner and had some enjoyable food. Moral of the story: Miguel needs cooking lessons. Moral of the story #2: If we could, we would rate this 0 stars because miguel sucks....
Read moreWalking through Quincy Market, I knew I wanted a roast beef sandwich. Prime Shoppe called to me. I ordered the Large Prime Roast Beef Sandwich and a Fruit Punch Bubbler. The sandwich was filling and delicious. I'd absolutely order it again and would recommend. The drink was sweet and addicting. I'd also highly recommend.
The service is was really earns the top marks for me. The guys working here were like my instant friends. I was ready to throw on an apron and start working with 'em. They were all friendly and helpful. Making the sandwiches was a labor of love, and I enjoyed my sandwich more because of it.
It can be chaotic to order, especially with everything going on in Quincy Market, but they kept track of me and my order, reducing the stress. I'd highly recommend picking Prime Shoppe as your stop of choice among the competition....
Read moreI stopped here with my boyfriend to grab some lunch while we were passing through Faneuil Hall and all the meat options grabbed my eye. Right on the counter top there were meal examples that showed a meat and 2 sides (with rice) and a sign that said $8.99. I was thinking that it was a great deal! So I walked up and pointed to the plate I wanted (ribs and chose the corn and green beans). The guys cut the ribs while putting sauce on them, however it rang up to $17! I'm not sure what the $8.99 sign was referring to but it was pretty deceiving since it was literally right next to the sample plate. I wouldn't have minded the price if the meat didn't end up being almost all fat. Additionally the corn and beans were clearly canned so it was a bit disappointing...
