sweetgreen - Healthy Salads, Bowls and Plates — Restaurant in Boston

Visited yesterday after my dr. Appointment. As many others said the salads are feeling. I ordinarily wouldn't order a salad because I figure you can just make them at home and I'd rather have something more special but then when you think about it a lot of these solids have a lot of different ingredients that would take a decent amount of prep work and cost a decent amount of money so it's worth it in the end for a giant salad for around $10. The staff was very friendly. I like that they have a couple vegan options I hope they will add some more vegan meat Alternatives in the future such as seitan. But overall I love the place the only problem was there was no place to sit because they don't have that many tables but I managed without it. So the recommendations I would have is to add some more vegan options and maybe get some more tables although the place is rather small so that's probably why they only have the small amount of tables they have. But overall my experience here was excellent and the Toro Bowl was great though I wish I could substitute the feta cheese because I'm not a big fan of feta cheese and I probably could have had to ask but I didn't think of it. I'd like to start off by saying that I like Sweetgreen. I'm giving 3 stars not because of my food, but because of the service at this location. It is pretty bad. They had no sense of urgency. Someone came in and said that they made a big food order online about 30 minutes ago, and the employees couldn't even find the order, let alone have it all made and ready for that customer. As a result, they took very long to make orders for the customers in line, along with that o line order. One of the employees didnt put all of her hair in a hair net (I hope no one got a hair in their food). Another employee, in the midst of this issue they were trying to take care of, said that she was "going to the back," and you could clearly she was standing back there on her phone.

Despite all this, I still believe that Sweetgreen is good. But maybe skip on going to this one if you hate poor...

First time ordering from here and wow am I impressed! Got a group order at work and my bowl arrived with everything I ordered and was even still warm!

I got a create your own bowl and I chose: shredded kale, cucumber, beets, roasted sweet potato, warm portobello mix, blackened chicken; dressing on the side: extra virgin olive oil, fresh lime squeeze and a fresh lemon squeeze.

The shredded kale was the perfect base for the veggies and protein I chose. The blackened chicken was deliciously charred and spiced, paired with the warm mushroom mix making such a tasty and hearty bowl. I love fresh citrus squeezes and being able to get that was amazing!

Now I know why everyone raves about this place. Consider me impressed! Definitely coming back for more of...
