People here like to say that Bozeman cant possibly provide good sushi because 1) we are land locked and 2) they havent found any yet.

YET!!!!! Hugkan has freaking great quality sushi prepared by chefs who know how to handle fish properly. The California roll was THE BEST I've ever had. The salmon and yellowtail nigiri? OFF THE CHARTS DELICIOUS!!! Chirashi bowl is generous plus the other nigiri, rolls, and sauces deliver. It is a little pricey but, again we are land locked and blessed by this place. I swear every time I mention Hugkan to locals thd people havent heard but once you do go here you will...

My husband and I discovered Hugkan through a TikTok video and decided to give it a try — and we’re so glad we did! The fish is incredibly fresh, and the sushi rolls are absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor. The goyzas were the best we’ve ever had, and everything tastes authentic. We’ve been here about three times now, and each visit somehow tops the last. The Jenny roll and A2 roll are my absolute favorites! The service time can be a little slow, but it’s 100% worth the wait. On top of that, the price point is fantastic for the quality you get. Highly recommend this sushi restaurant to...

Heard a lot of great things about this place, so we finally tried it out tonight and it didn’t disappoint. We quickly got a table and our server was great. I’m not a sushi savant, so others stating how fresh the fish tasted was over my head. Until I ate it. And now I get it. Might be the best sushi spot in Montana. Definitely come give this spot a try if you love sushi. Sooooo good! As is the Thai tea. I got the sunset roll, my friend got the Power roll. We started with the Gyoza, which was legit the best Gyoza I’ve had in town. This place is the Bee’s Knee’s Item 9. Smoke a joint before coming through...

Let’s not fall for the propaganda that land-locked states like Montana don’t serve fresh sushi 🍣 If you think that, you’ve clearly never been to Hugkan. This family owned sushi restaurant has some of the freshest tasting fish in town! Each bite is colorful both in flavor and appearance 🍣🍱 When you visit, you’ll feel like part of the family! They’re incredibly welcoming of their regulars along with new faces. The sushi was excellent and prepared perfectly. The edamame and seaweed salad were also perfect. The only issue I had was that my wife and I felt that we were being rushed out by the waitress. Each time she came around, she kept asking us if we were finished and ready for the check. My wife and I like to order numerous (and most times expensive) rolls and always end up with a large check, so you would think that they would be happy about that, but in this case, we felt a bit rushed.
