Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Bradley

Came to get food for the family through the drive thru. Then when I got home realized 2 Large fries were missing out of the 3 meals that were ordered. So we were only given 1 fry. Went back to the restaurant where I talked to a manager I assume. I told her we were missing 2 large fries and that we had just came through the drive-through. She read the receipt in front of me and told me it was 1 large fry ordered but we got 3 meals. I told her it was 2 she said there was only 1 large fry again. She then gave me one fry and right after crumbled the receipt up and threw it away, which I didn’t appreciate since if I had the receipt entire time I waited in the line I would’ve realized by the time that I re-ordered my food that I was right because when I got home and looked at the bag with the receipt printed on a sticker on the bag it was 2 large fries. Besides the fact that I should’ve noticed I was right anyways because there was 3 meals ordered and all meals come with fries. So not only were we out of 2 large fries we had to re-purchase a new meal because after waiting another 30 minutes in line the food was cold. I’ve tried this location multiple times. I went with my two kids yesterday for breakfast for the first time. There was a customer in front of us getting his order taken. When he was done instead of taking our order next, the girl on the register walked away. So we just sat there and waited. Finally, a manager asked if we had been helped and took our orders. My daughter went back up to the register and placed another order for a gallon of lemonade. We got all of our food. Then we waited… waited… and waited for the gallon of lemonade. While the workers just sat around doing nothing (no one was in line). Finally, my daughter asked if the gallon of lemonade was ready and someone went to get it. Went here for “teacher appreciation”. My mom has a gluten allergy and was told last week by a manager that they would accommodate her. So today we went in to order our food. Told them we were teachers and showed our ids. Mind you we were getting two free teacher meals and we were going to buy three more meals. My mom said I need that to be gluten free. The cashier seemed to think that wasn’t allowed so she got the owner who happened to be there. He refused to accommodate her, he said I’m sorry but that is not the free item we’re offering. He had a very standoffish and rude attitude. I told him you can do better than sorry.
