When my husband and I were trying to figure out where to host our wedding dinner for us and our 30 guests, Twist quickly went to the top of our list and ultimately the venue we ended up going with. We loved the idea that we would be able to buy out the entire restaurant for the night and the cost would be similar to getting a private room or section of a larger restaurant. It created such an intimate experience for us and our guests. Sarah, the owner of the restaurant, was easy to work with and willing to help in any way she could to help make the night magical for us. We had cocktail hour at the downstairs bar, with the option for guests to go outside to their cute patio. Following cocktail hour, we went upstairs for dinner. Sarah made sure the restaurant staff arranged the tables in the configuration we agreed upon in advance. Between the table arrangement, rented linens, and beautiful garland and candles from our wedding florist, the space looked gorgeous! The restaurant allowed us to select up to five entree options in advance for our guests to select from (most restaurants only let you pick three, possibly four). We loved that it gave people so many options to choose from to accommodate all tastes and dietary restrictions. The food was amazing and tasted divine and all our wedding guests praised the meal! After dinner was over, we were able to go downstairs and do some post-dinner dancing, which was so much fun and capped off the night. They have a sound system/aux connection that you can connect your phone to play music. We had the best wedding night and are so glad we chose Twist as our...
Read moreWe arrived there and the night was absolutely frigid. My family spent the day skiing and shopping in Breck, and had a reservation at another place until 730pm, but it was 6pm and were looking for a place to have dinner instead of waiting out in the freezing cold. As soon as we walked in the host (who I don't remember his name for the life of me), greeted us with a big smile. He indicated in a very friendly manner that they were booked solid and had no place, but as he was telling us that he noticed a man leaving the bar area that allowed five stools for my family, and he invited us to sit and order at the bar, which we did. As soon as I glanced at the menu, I knew we had arrived at the right spot and I proceeded to cancel my reservation at the other restaurant. Not long after that, a beautiful table became available, and he told us we could have it if we vacated by 8pm. We agreed, since that allowed for one and a half hour which was plenty of time for my wife, daughters and 9 yr old son. We ordered out of the menu which was spectacular. The lamb chops were amazing, so was the short rib filet and mushroom and lobster risotto. For dessert we ordered the pumpkin cheesecake with oreo cookie crust, that was to die for. It was so good, we ordered a second one to share. This is fantastic place, and for sure a place I will drop by every time we head back out to Breck.....what made it even better than the decor and food, was the friendly service by the...
Read moreWow! Make at least one meal at Twist a must for your trip to Breckenridge, Colorado. Our table ordered a bit of everything from lamb, short ribs, shrimp, steak, to tempeh. Everyone throughly enjoyed what they ordered and we are still talking about it days later. The service is impeccable. They start off asking about any dietary restrictions and allergies to make sure everyone is taken care of properly. This is a great place for a mixed group of people with different dietary needs. I personally opted for the Smoked Korean Tempeh and it was like putting flavor bombs in my mouth with every bite. Might be one of the best vegan dishes I ever had, so I would definitely recommend this place for vegans and vegetarians. The drinks were absolutely spot on. The Oak Smoked Old Fashion is snoke table side, I did opt for them to smoke the next one at the bar as the table was pretty full with food by then, but the show of the first one was appreciated. They have an excellent wine selection as well. I would recommend making reservations early, as the only one I could get the week before were early or late. We opted for a 4:30pm reservation and I have to say it workef out great. With drinks, appetizers, main course, and desert we were there two and a half hours, so left just after 7:00pm and was able to enjoy our night afterwards. Overall the excellent food, service, and atmosphere makes for one of the best restaurants in...
