WONDERFUL EVENT SPACE, amazing pizza, and even better staff! The service was exceptional. We are from Massachusetts, and we were planning our micro wedding in Breckenridge. We wanted to include our love for pizza during this special day in our lives. They made this process so easy for us. From start to finish it was everything I dreamed of and more! I first started planning my event with Meagan. She was very responsive to all my emails. She made the process very easy especially being so far away. She sent me pictures of the event space, sent me all the menu info, pricing… everything I needed. They have a private room with balcony access if your party wants to hangout outside during your event. It was so beautiful and intimate. The staff was never in the way and could always be found if we needed them for anything. You have your own room away from other guests in the restaurant. You have the whole second floor to yourself. We chose menu items ahead of time and everything was on schedule. They allowed us to even include our own decorations, but you honestly don’t need any because the room is so cozy and beautiful itself. They even asked me how I wanted the tables set up for our group. The communication was great. Zero complaints! Everyone was complimenting on how beautiful the place was and how I was able to find this gem! The drinks… soooo good. One of the best mules I’ve ever had. Our family and friends raved about the food and drinks the whole time we were there and still up to this date. They have a great drink menu with something for everyone. And the pizza and cookies…. Omg we are still having dreams about it. So many pizza options! So delicious! The bread app… I could just eat that for the rest of my life and be content. To be honest, we stopped at the cookie place in town called Mountain Top Cookies and we all agreed Tin Plate cookies were 100% better. Our family and friends say this was the highlight of our wedding day and we agree! They made it so stress free for us. Truly the best day of my life. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Trevor was our bartender/server. He went above and beyond for us. Even played as photographer to get pictures of all of us included. James, the owner, you can tell how much he loves his job. He was so involved and came to check on us multiple times. The best part is the prices were reasonable especially for the service we received. I can’t recommend this place more. We plan on coming back to Breckenridge in the future and Tin Plate will always be on our itinerary. Highly recommend coming here just to try the pizza, apps, and drinks if you’re in town. And of course, I highly recommend them for small parties! We had the best service. Thank...

Read moreHorrible experience. Tried to call and place a to-go order but they refused. Said I had to do it online. So I went online to place an order. The system is way too inflexible for placing orders and won’t let you pay online (asked later and told the manager doesn’t like it when people pay online, but they couldn’t give a reason why). Initially was told 20-25 minutes. Then as I was placing the order (I was online for less than 5 minutes) it went up to 35 minutes. When I submitted my order (which was a difficult process) I was told it was now a 55 minute wait.
Walked in to the restaurant 55 minutes later. Waited 5 minutes at the hostess stand before being talked to (she was very busy and overworked- not her fault) before being told to go to the back of the restaurant to receive to-go orders. I went back there to find 7 different customers waiting on their orders. We began talking and realized that 3 of them had their orders messed up and 3 more had been waiting there for over 30 minutes.
After standing there for 5 minutes the “to-go waitress” asked me for my name and I paid for the full order. Several minutes later she returned to tell me they didn’t have all the ingredients to make my order and asked if I wanted something else. This was over an hour since I placed the order (and was required to leave a phone number and email address- though nobody contacted me to tell me they couldn’t fill my order) and after having already paid for the full order. She asked if I wanted my money back…
I waited for another 30 minutes before my order was finally finished. I walked 10 minutes back to my condo to discover that the pizzas were undercooked and tasted awful.
I paid way too much money, for awful pizza, awful customer service, and stood waiting in their restaurant for 40 minutes after it was supposed to be done.
And I was there with multiple other customers experiencing the same. Epic...
