I stayed at this cabin with a group of 14 people. Day 2 of the stay I fell ill with flulike symptoms. Assuming it was altitude sickness, we stayed however my conditions worsened. Day 5: I was sick to the point where I could not get out of bed unassisted. Just before going to urgent care, we saw a mouse in the kitchen. We called maintenance, who brought two mousetraps and stated “let’s hope it likes cheese”. Josh, the director of sales, told us that “we are welcome to find alternative arrangements & they would refund our unused nights”. Considering that it was snowing and after 3 pm, we would have had a difficult time finding our own accommodations. We also informed Skyrun multiple times that someone in the house was sick, both verbally and in writing. It doesn’t appear that they cared. Day 6: the mouse ate both pieces of cheese and avoided the mouse trap. We reset the mousetraps ourselves. As the group departed, we did see that the mouse was caught in the kitchen with our reset trap. We were told that we should expect to see wildlife, even mice in the kitchen & that mice doesn’t reflect the cleanliness of a home. However, my doctor at urgent care did confirm that my sickness was not due to altitude, & suggested I get tested for hantavirus (which is caused by mice/rats). We never heard from Skyrun after their last email. Hoping we can come to an amicable solution. Editing to add that there were several other issues prior to the mouse that we overlooked: plumbing issues, part of the stove didn’t operate, and a roach was found on day one.

If I could give zero stars I would! What an awful experience we had for a Christmas family getaway! At Alpenrose 303 Don’t trust the pictures and the company! The place supposed to be for 6 people but it can barely fit 4! This place is disguising people in a shelter have a better sleeping condition! Starting with a couch with holes probably picked it from the garbage, don’t even try to flipping it over because the other side is even worse! Furniture is old and broken, the drawer fell out and broke my finger, the carpet is old, dirty and disgusting that made everyone sick! The toilet can barely flush! The third bed is basically mattress on the floor, also, on the picture you can see the sitting area which is actually dirty, filthy and in the basement! I can’t even believe that people can put this place for a STR for a family for a Christmas, what a shame to Mike and Anna, the owners and the Sky Run,! My advice just run from this place!

We rented Trollhagen 5 in Breckenridge and had a wonderful experience! The space was beautiful, nicely decorated, and had so many thoughtful amenities and everything we needed. The location is perfect and so convenient with a bus stop right in front, as well as a market grocer right across the street. Main Street shops and restaurants are so close by and the view of the slopes was just the icing on the cake. It is a second story location so does require walking up a flight of stairs to access but it’s not bad at all as long as you’re okay with that. Lastly, the fact that it’s pet friendly meant the ENTIRE family could join in on the vacation, which we absolutely did. Hosts were responsive so that was of course greatly appreciated. Would definitely stay here again!

This is for the management company itself, not the rental properties.

Please do yourself and your wallet a favor and get someone else to manage your rental property. When Mike and Anna were in charge, things went smoothly. After they left, things went downhill.

For starters, the cleaners are terrible. Every single time we came to stay we found trash everywhere and nothing was clean. Once I found lingerie in one of the drawers and a huge hairball next to the toilet. We picked up what we found, but would let Skyrun know what was going on because we knew our guests were encountering the same. They always just told us that it was hard to find good cleaners. Not that they would look into it or inspect the property to check on the quality of the cleanings, but just that there was nothing to be done.

Then came the extra fees. Not only were we paying them 30% of all income, but we were getting crazy fees on top of that. $45 each time we called them. $65 to change batteries in the doorbell. $120 for a propane tank drop-off. Some of this could have been included in the 30%, which is already high and hard to make an income above 30% being taken off the top.

Finally the house was being run down and no one was checking on the property. Each time we visited, there were more and more broken or missing things. The duvet covers were always gone. We questioned this and were told that the cleaners were forgetting to replace them after sending them out to launder if they got dirty. This happened multiple times. The dishes were gone and the cups were gone. I would replace them. They would charge me a fee to put the new items away and then they would all be gone again the next time.

They didn't do a great job with advertising or pricing and we always felt like they were underselling it. $150 per night for a 4 bedroom house?

When we'd finally had enough and decided to sell since we weren't making enough of an income after all the money we were giving to Skyrun for them to do basically nothing for us, we decided to sell the property. We were met with a lot of rude behavior after that because we hadn't told them upon deciding to sell. Then as a final goodbye, they charged us the fees we would have had to pay them for the bookings that had to be cancelled due to the sale of the house.

Please do not trust your property to SkyRun. SkyHighRobbery is...

A cleaning crew was sent the day before we were scheduled to leave and we were there for a total of 6 nights. We notified the property manager of the cleaning deficiencies immediately and so it should not have taken until our last day to correct the issues. Also we were told by the property manager that due to COVID-19 we would be notified immediately if someone would enter the home as a courtesy to ensure that we would not be in the home for the sake of our health, safety and privacy. Not only were we NOT notified but our privacy was completely invaded. If we had not come back from our trip early to grab our daughter’s diaper bag....the cleaning crew would have thrown all of our stuff away as most of our groceries we had left to cook a final meal were trashed. It was so upsetting. Money does not replace such a horrible stay in this home. We are a military family and are only able to travel together as a family once a year so it was disappointing. In all of my years of traveling, I’ve never been forced to sleep on stained sheets. But to pay over 6k and tell a paying customer that stained sheets does not mean that they’re dirty.” How does the customer initially know that upon checking in! How is stained sheets being washed...excusable? Why would a paying customer be ok with that!? I would not sleep on stained sheets in my own home. Although the twin creek lodge is a beautiful home inside. There is a lot of work that needs to be done to the property inside for it to be truly a five star property. Be advise to those reading this review that this is not an attempt to continue to badger this business at all but my original review that I left on the VRBO site was never published. And I thinks it’s absurd that only positive reviews are posted on their site. And after our experience, I had to go to google with this review to make it known public to others who research this company. In response to the owners...sometimes simply taking responsibility and ownership will build relations, humility and allow growth. Providing excuses for lack of quality service is not the customers problem especially when it’s a cleaning issue during a pandemic. That...

Bad! Bad! Bad! Summit Solitude Estate, Breckenridge. Major Fail!! Arrived Monday at 4pm to check into our 5 bedroom cabin with 2 bedroom guest house to discover that the guest home had not been cleaned by the cleaning crew and the main home had several issues. the sky run employee on site when we arrived assured us that a cleaning crew would be sent out right away. while we waited and unloaded we discovered the hot tub water was green and slimy, also beer cans and cig butts all around the common area. the fire place did not work at all. as dark feel on the first day of our dream vacation that cost just over 13k and no cleaning crew had shown up we did the best we could to accommodate our guests in the main home. I left multiple messages that evening and the next two days ( Christmas Eve & Christmas Day) with no response. finally Thursday morning I reached a polite lady at the office who listened and responded. a service guy did show up to fix the fire place but once he left we could turn it off (remote controlled). with one day left on our big family vacation we have still not seen a cleaning crew or been able to use the hot tub. I called back to the office and got the usual run around so I mentioned that a partial refund should be in order considering I booked a 7 room cabin and guest home and only got a 5 room cabin with considerable issues. the employee completely dodged the request and stated she would check into it. our guest decided to leave early the day after Christmas which was a big blow but we really only had couches for sleeping room due to no guest home. great home and location but horrible support by Sky Run, A very...
