I recently visited your Flatiron Store and was met by a regretful experience. I put in an online order through your mobile app and arrived 8 minutes early. I told the cashier I had a mobile order and they told me to come back when the mini dogs were ready in 10 minutes. I was fine with this and continued shopping and came back about ten minutes later. I was confronted by the manager about how it would be another 10 minutes so I waited. This was slightly bothersome because the cashier previously quoted the time for the mini pretzel dogs. I waited another 5 minutes before I noticed that the cinnamon sugar pretzels were also running out as others were purchasing them. I saw one left and jumped back into line to make sure I wouldnāt be waiting another 10-15 minutes for that. When I confronted the cashier he said that it would still be another 10-15 minutes for the pretzel dogs, at that point I was over waiting. This was past the time i was quoted on the application and I was too hungry to wait. I proceeded to ask for a refund and they said that the manager had stepped away. I waited another five minutes for the manager to come back and at this point the pretzel dogs were done. This really ticked me off as there should be a manager on duty all the time.
When the manager came back I noticed he was wearing flip flops in a kitchen serving food. I know this is not safe and violates OSHA regulations. The manager insisted on making excuses and said he could not process my refund and explaining to me that the quoted time on the application is for the time I should arrive and then Iād have to wait another 15 minutes for the mini pretzel dogs to cook. He lied to me to save face and I did not appreciate that response from a manager. I was over it and just wanted my food I paid for. After 30 minutes, I left with cold cinnamon sugar bites and lukewarm pretzel dogs. I havenāt had an experience like this at any Auntie Anneās and I enjoy the food, but after this experience I am afraid of going back to this chain because the customer service is not up to par and food safety standards are not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is by far the worst branch I would say. I don't know if it is under new management or new ownership but they are absolutely horrible! I can't tell you how many times I visited to order something but I hardly see anyone behind the counter or if there is someone, they are constantly on their phone or talking on their phones. Staff isn't friendly, at least in my interactions with a few of them....
The few times I was able to stop by in person and asked for a fresh pretzel, they would either argue with me saying the ones they have out are "fresh" when it really wasn't. It was obvious some didn't want to do it. I have unfortunately purchased many pretzels that were not only stale but bitter. Just judging based on that, I could tell they were not fresh and that the person lied about it being " a few minutes fresh out of the oven...." Which was clearly a lie. I wish I could get a refund for every time I was given a stale and cold pretzel...I feel cheated and lied to. This is not a good business model to keep, very disappointed.
I was sad to find out that they no longer make their sour cream and onions pretzels, they were tasty and delicious. It's a shame they don't make that anymore, the flavor was a great match with the pretzels.....š©
This branch needs new management or something because I won't waste my money on any more cold, stale and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give a lesser star I would. I went specifically for their mini dogs and a blue raspberry lemonade. My boyfriend wanted cinnamon bites, may I get some bites with that cinnamon please?! I'm very disappointed as every other time it's amazing. No, not this go. The kids were arguing in front of us , like we wanted to hear all that sass. Then the kid who did help us failed to tell me it was an upcharge for blue raspberry, which I would've paid for as that's what I was craving. He had to ring me up twice because he messed up our order the first time, so there was time to add the upcharge, he didn't bother. And to add salt to the wound the one thing I wanted, the mini dogs, where beyond edible and absolutely burned. Not toasted, straight up burned. Dissatisfaction at its best, if ever I see the same people working I will never go back. I understand mistakes happen but come on standards, if they don't care hire people who do! End of rant. This in no way reflects my view on auntie Anne's just this location and this experience...
