Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Brownsville

I went about 10 to 15 minutes before closing and when it was my turn to order I was told there was no more chicken. This is at about 9:55pm. The lady said they were closing, so no more chicken. A young man working there told the lady to make some as it wasn't 10 yet. She told him to make it himself. He said he would because it was actually still open. He made the 2 orders totalling 32 pieces of chicken. He saved the evening and I was VERY impressed with his professionalism and care of the Customer. I applaud his Customer Service. He will be going places with that mentality. I WILL be going back again... but earlier because I understand the closing mentality but he IMPRESSED me. Good going hiring...

I usually don't post reviews, but this here couldn't go on without being addressed. I ordered a spicy Chicken strip combo with an order of jalapeno bombers. -Two strips were undercooked. -Strips were regular, not spicy. -Jalapeno bombers, missing. -Gravy was watery, lacking thickness. They were not busy. I usually check the order before leaving, but I had to get going. Incomplete/Incorrect orders are one thing. Undercooked food is another. I called back and informed them to slow down and pay attention to the orders they are...

Went there the other day and I was shocked to see the bad service I received. I never had an issue in the many years of visiting this place but WOW. I ordered and waited about 45 minutes for my food, then the guy comes out with no food in hand just to let me know that there is no more mash potatoes. This was at 4pm, I was like and you guys close at 10pm how are you gonna do it the rest of the day??? I immediately got down and asked for my money back. Very terrible service not going back. Plus there prices have gone way up...
