The Human Bean — Restaurant in Brunswick

This is so disappointing. I loved you guys but I am definitely never going back there again and I let all my family and friends know not to go here anymore as well as anyone who will ever ask. I loved you guys but nah I’m good now. Going back to starbucks.

Last week my sister in law and I pull up to the drive thru. Its her first time here and so ofcourse I’m taking her to the human bean (not anymore tho). A girl with i believe reddish hair and freckles and a blue tshirt came to the window. She had the dirtiest attitude and I was so confused because every time I come here everyone is always great. We made our order and a few mins later another girl came out with one part of the order. She had the biggest smile and was so sweet and I was like there we go i like her not the girl in the blue to my sister in law as I’m explaining to her that they are usually always great here and apologizing for her first experience being with a very rude barista (the window was closed right after they handed our first drink). The girl who took our order was beyond rude from the start to the end. But if i didnt want my sister in law trying this place so bad i would have drove away and i should have because when you get nasty customer service the order doesnt taste as it should. We ended up throwing our drinks away. Anyways- as the girl in the blue hands us almost all the order she slams the window in our face- HARD. I’m like what the f? Like seriously you’ve been rude since the moment we pulled up are you serious? She forgot one more drink and literally walked away no one was by the window so I beeped she comes back aggressive and i tell her the last drink and she pours it and hands it to us and again slams the window shut. We didnt get our straws and we were so upset I ended up driving away. Its so disappointing because I loved you guys but it was definitely wrong when you hire people like that. I made sure to let my family know not to go back either because I was always boasting about how great you guys are and some told me its not all that or you will shut down soon, etc. and I was like NO THEY ARE GREAT. But ya no they were right i guess. Thanks for the worst...

Seriously, who schedules a networking event at 7:15 in the morning? but it was a networking breakfast so... anyway, as I am heading out of town with zero sleep because, well because that happens sometimes, I see no line at the Bean. Sweet! I pull up and one of my favorite baristas is working the window. I do not know her name, I just know she smiles and engages when you are at her window. I order a latte with two extra shots (why 2? see aforementioned 7:15am professional requirement to interact with strangers and acquaintances) This drink was the best I have had to date and the service was with a smile at 6:30 am. great way to start my...

My first time trying it. I think it was a great 1st impression. Not knowing anything about their coffee, I ordered a vanilla lavender latte. I told the batista I had never been there but I didn't like it overly sweet. She recommended half of each flavoring. The coffee was weak and I couldn't really taste my espresso or the flavors at all. It was mostly hot milk i tasted. No fault of theirs and i dont blame them, but I know for next time... less 2%, full pump lavender, full pump vanilla ♥️ My daughter got iced vanilla matcha tea and my son a mango smoothie.
