I decided to get a different type of sub (Philly cheesesteak) from my usual. I asked several times for the oil & vinegar to be on the side. When I got home and unwrapped the sandwich it was wet, soggy and mushy... you can barely hold it. One, probably from the sweat and two from the oil and vinegar that was put on it.
I called the store. They apologized and offered me a new sub. The customer service was very great throughout the process of ordering the sub (& during my complaint) and because I eat there all the time I would give them five stars anytime because I've been there so many times. This is the first time they ever messed up my order. I highly recommend visiting your local Jersey Mike's restaurant. Every Jersey Mike restaurant I've gone to, they have always given me great service and fresh bread.
I do recommend that the staff members are trained on how to encourage people to sign up with their phone numbers but not just ask if they have a phone number but explain what that will get them. I think it's good to know that you can get free subs by putting in your phone number.
There was a woman that walked in when I was waiting for my sub. The staff member asked, do you have a phone number with us? The woman said no and that was that she didn't get any points or anything. I decided to cut in and explain to her why they ask for the phone number, what the points were about and explained to her how you can get free items. She was so happy to hear that and was really happy that I told her about the program since she as well stated that she enjoys eating at Jersey Mike's subs! She said going forward she will use her phone number every time she orders so she can accrue points. I think it's important that every...
Read moreI came in tonight (11/25- closing crew) at the last minute before close and I’m so grateful we chose to go here for dinner tonight. Not only was the food delicious but the customer service was absolutely top notch. I was asked by two different employees if I had a hard day, and that I looked really tired. I explained that my two year old is sick and I was up all night with her the night before. They apologized for her being sick and hoped that she would start feeling better soon. To have employees that see someone, rundown and ask how they are doing is such a sweet gesture. You can tell they care about people and were interested in making small talk with me while they cooked my food and didn’t make me feel rushed at all, even though I came in at the last minute. Then, one of the men asked me if I liked brownies or cookies more and when I left they put a brownie in my bag to help with my day. Management- PLEASE make sure these employees know that they are doing a great job. You are lucky to have such awesome kids working for you and they deserve a pat on the back. I know the gesture might seem small but to me it helped me feel so much better after a...
Read moreIf I could give more stars, I'd give them a 1,000! The crew and their manager Brian deserve it. My family recently found that we have a gluten intolerance issue, and navigating that diet change can be a little overwhelming, especially with children. This was the first restaurant we tried after making diet changes. I'll be honest, I was nervous, and my 9 year old was already complaining about our food options. Brian, you made this change incredibly easy! Thank you for your kindness, patience, and willingness to help us navigate through change. Brian went out of his way to make sure our son LOVED his sandwich. I mean it, LOVED! The other employees were also incredibly sweet and seemed happy to be working there. You can tell when a crew is happy, and that happens when they have someone who genuinely cares at the lead. This happened well over 2 months ago, I've been slow to review but have not forgotten about the kindness shown to us at this location. This was also the first time we stepped foot into a Jersey Mike's in at least 5 years. We'll be customers for a long time. I hope corporate sees this, Brian and his crew deserve some...
