Never, ever ever again will I visit this Applebee's or any other location. This is now the 3rd bad experience I've had with this company. I'll try to focus on yesterday's experience. We arrived at Applebee's around 7:45 ish for the endless wings. The host was able to seat us pretty quickly. At first, he was nice, but he mistook my friend for a kid. He asked her if she needed a kid's menu. Next, our waiter, Katherine was pretty sweet & upbeat. Her assist, Jake, on the other hand was clueless. I'm not sure if he was new or what. He just didn't seem to be much of assistance. When we would ask for things he would never return with them. We would have to ask Katherine. It still took a while from them to bring us the simplest things, like ranch or an extra straw. Like so long we've forgotten we even asked for it. We ordered our entire meal all at once. Drinks, appetizers, & meal the whole 9. It took them almost 30 minutes to bring our drinks. Keep in mind it was not busy at all & we had TWO waiters. It was only 5 of us. Someone could have went & placed our order & the other get our drinks. There's no excuse. Then we were only able to get 1 plate of bone-in wings before Katherine let us know that they were out of bone-in wings. This was very disappointing considering we only came for wings & you guys don't close until 2am. We had just arrived. Between the wait & running out of wings I was completely done with Applebee's last night. How do you run out of wings during an endless wing promotion. On the FIRST day it's starting. Someone totally neglected the inventory. Finally, another friend of mines order an queso appetizers & nachos for his meal. The queso came out before we had our drinks. 😒 The nachos on the other hand took forever. He decided he wanted to change his order to a quesadilla. We were ordering our 3rd round of wings when Katherine came out to said she had forgot to put the order in for the quesadilla & she had just placed it. He told her not to worry about it because she took to long. When we got to the end of the night & it was time to get the tickets Jake brought back one receipt. He never asked if this was going to be all on 1 ticket or nothing. So I explained to him that we were not all on 1 ticket. He took the ticket & walked off. I then had to call him back over to us & explain to him how we wanted to ticket spilt. About 10 minutes later Katherine then comes by asking us the same thing. We explained to her what just occurred with Jake & that he hasn't returned with the receipts yet. It was obvious to us that they were not working as a team in order to best serves us. It all boiled down to communication between the two of them. The smallest things would have saved us so much time & maintained our satisfaction. Yet we were left waiting half of the night & unsatisfied with the services of your company. The first time I visited a Applebee's we waited so long for a waiter to come take our order we grew gray hairs, the 2nd visit a waiter added a $7 tip for themselves into my $4 meal. And now this. So trust me when I say I'll never come back & spend a dime. I'll never, ever recommend Applebee's as a place for friends & family to come dine in and have a good time. You guys should serious take a deeper look into the employees you hire to make sure they are trust worthy. You guys also need a meeting on communication between the crew. There's no reason why we should have 2 waiters who are not on the same page when serving a table of 5 people. We didn't have a table of 12 with difficult orders. We had wings, nachos, & a damn quesadilla. Please...
Read moreThe last few times I've came here, it has been absolutely horrible! My father in law came in on a late night flight. He hadn't eaten so our choices for food at this point was Applebees, Whataburger, ihop, and Jack and the Box. We figured applebees might be the best decision, oh how we were wrong. We ordered our food and then sat there for an hour waiting. Each of our food came out at different times. I ordered an appetizer for my meal, but made sure the waiter was aware it wasn't for an app, but my meal. That came out first. I decided to wait to eat it until the other two people's food came out, surely it wouldn't take too long, WRONG! My husband's food came out a half hour after mine, he started to eat his. Still no food for father in law. He ordered some kind of bacon cheese fries, that was it! At this point we've been here for nearly two hours and still no cheese fries. Our waiter finally comes back to say how they used the last of the cheese for someone else's order and we'd have to order something else. My father in law declined because he's tired and it was almost closing time. I ended up sharing my very very cold tacos with him so he at least had something to eat. At no point did a manager come to speak with us, no apology, no comp on part of meal, absolutely nothing. I also hate that when you come at night, they try to force or guilt you into the bar section. It's always too loud, the service is even worse on that side, they skip your songs even if it's appropriate, no cursing, ect. Or they'll blare the music as loud as can be so you can't have a decent conversation. It's just turning into the worse place to go. They've even served us raw chicken!!!! They did apologize and told us that order would be taken off our bill. But what they really meant was they would take it off the bill, but ring you up again for the same item. Ya know what kills me too about this, they cut up the chicken into slices to serve on top of the pasta, so how did the cook not notice the raw chicken? Even our server was shocked about it! During the day isn't nearly as bad, but perhaps the night crew needs to...
Read moreI am writing to express my deep disappointment with the level of customer service provided by your General Manager, Jenifer M., during a recent visit. Her behavior was not only unprofessional but also completely unacceptable for someone in a leadership position.
We were seated for 10 minutes before even being offered water as others who’d arrived after us were waited on. I had to bring it to the hostess’ attention; we were finally given a waitress from another section. While our waitress, Madison, was courteous, professional, and quick to correct any issues we brought to her attention, our experience overall was marred by serious concerns regarding cleanliness and the way they were handled. We encountered a hair in one of our beverages, a dirty water glass, and a black foreign object floating in another glass of water—issues that are not only off-putting but also raise questions about the restaurant's health and sanitation standards.
Upon requesting to speak with the manager, Jenifer M. arrived at our table without introducing herself and immediately began speaking in an accusatory and dismissive tone. Instead of addressing the health concerns we were raising, she redirected BLAME toward the waitress for a minor discrepancy on our bill! —which was NEVER our issue. I was not given the opportunity to fully explain the situation, as Jenifer repeatedly interrupted, failed to apologize, and ultimately walked away abruptly, only to return with a business card offering a refund for one item addressed the billing error.
Her conduct was rude, rushed, and entirely unprofessional. It reflected poorly on the establishment and left us feeling dismissed and disrespected. As a General Manager, Jenifer’s role should be to de-escalate situations and show leadership, empathy, and accountability—all of which were clearly lacking during our interaction.
I hope that this feedback is taken seriously, and that appropriate measures are taken to address both the health and sanitation concerns we experienced, as well as the unprofessional behavior exhibited by...
