This particular night we visited chilis it was extremely busy and service was poor. After being seated we set for 20 minutes before we were serviced with our drinks. Then after we placed our order I believe it was close to half an hour before we even received our entrees we did receive our appetizers but the whole night was, like, in slow-motion for us. We rarely saw our waitress only to take our order and one more time after that just to see if we liked our entree. Other than that we never saw her except going to the back of the restaurant.. We waited a long time for her to come back to check on us which she never did after about 20 more minutes I finally got up and went to the hostess desk and ask for to-go boxes & bag. I told my daughter to use the automated kiosk at the table to begin to start checking us out and she happened to see her doing that and I guess she went and enter the information so that we could check out ourselves. My daughter asked me how much to leave for a tip and normally I would leave a tip but this time I said "forget about it" there's no way a tip is being given tonight. We basically were forgot about for over an hour and a half. Glasses weren't refilled we had empty plates, and baskets all over the table and we constantly had to move items around to be able to eat comfortably. this time sadly no tip. I noticed other tables see.m to have extremely long waits for service at their tables as well before their orders were even taken as well. Hopefully next time we visit this Chili's Service will be better as well as the food. Which most Chili's food is usually good. This night wasn't their best. Read moreIt’s Monday night around 8, my boyfriend and I decided to make Chili’s our dinner spot for our anniversary. We 100% wished we picked somewhere else. It took about 15 minutes before we were greeted. We were about to get up and go to Texas Roadhouse instead but then our waitress arrived so we thought we would give Chili’s a chance after all. We ordered our drinks, appetizer, and meals at once. We got our drinks shortly after. Waited another 10 minutes or so for our loaded fries and another waitress drops the hot skillet onto the table and the toppings go everywhere. I’m just glad no one got burned. We have been here for a while now so at this point we are starving and start diving in and two bites in there’s a hair in my food. Our waitress is no where to be found several times this visit but when she comes next she gives my boyfriend his meal and part of mine and we tell her about the hair and she offers to bring a fresh appetizer but at this point the food is here so we ask it to be taken off the bill—no problem. My food comes shortly after and it looks and smells amazing. It’s when I dive in I realize the steak is not cooked throughout I usually like a medium-well but it looked more raw than that. The steak is like one big piece sliced halfway down and I could pick the whole thing in one piece and felt like I was chewing on a tire. The food was very bland. My boyfriend enjoyed his burger for the most part but realized in the last few bites how raw the middle looked and it made him a bit sick. Read moreMy wife ordered curbside last Sunday. The employee took here bank card inside instead of bring the card machine to her. On Tuesday I discovered that our bank account had 2 separate charges, one for the meal we actually got and another for $45.68! Wife called Tuesday and spoke to Cory Giffen (the manager). He told her that he could clearly see what happened, our card was ran twice for 2 separate bills and it appears that a tip was added to the second one! Wife told him that she actually tipped in cash. She was told not to worry that the money would be credited back to our account in 5-7 business days. So I called Cory today (Thursday) to hear Chilis side of story for myself. I told Cory G. that this was theft! He assured me that it wasn't theft because at the end of the night the receipts would have to match the drawer. I informed him that it was indeed theft....although Chilis was the victim of theft here, we are the victims here. Money was stolen from my account...not Chilis! If this employee would have stolen from Chilis then most likely he would have gotten fired but stealing from customers....are we valued as much as Chilis values themselves? I was assured that the money would be credited back in 5-7 business days. I asked what if I came in and ordered a $45.00 meal, ate it then told them that I would pay in 5-7 business days...would that be acceptable? I did not get a response to that question. The only thing I was offered was return of the $46.68 that their employee stole from our account.I did get an apology but that was all I was offered.
