What is immediately evident about the folks at Nectar’s is their passion for live music. I was there in Oct of 2023 for a Clive show. The in-house sound system is next level, and they staff the booth with a human being who truly knows his craft. Compared to other small music venues, the quality really stands out. Add in high quality lights, great acoustics, and a cool space full of music lovers, not to mention a roster of great bands, and you’re in for a treat. Nectar’s is special.

Nectar's in Burlington, VT, is an incredible live music venue! I had the pleasure of visiting a while back, and the experience was fantastic. The band jamming that night (can't recall the name) was amazing, and the atmosphere was electric. The venue itself has a great vibe, with friendly staff and excellent acoustics. I really enjoyed my time there and can't wait to get back for more live music. Highly recommend Nectar's for anyone looking to enjoy live performances in Burlington!

We went to see God Street Wine, who were đŸ€© Stellar ✹btw Service was great upstairs..pre show .. and also down stairs great people lots of smiles and dancing.. we had puffy comfy seats in the back with a great view of the stage .. open wall to the outdoors.. . Even tho it was a slow out show it didn't feel too crowded.. so much fun . (Look into parking.. there's a lot of street construction right in front at the moment.. and it was 8$/hr to park close by! Yikes 😳)

Mi Yard on Sunday night is the only place to catch reggae in the area now and if it weren't for that and DJ's Big Dog and Jahson this place would be completely gone to hell compared to its heyday. Went on Wednesday night this week for œ price burgers between 5pm and 2am and was disappointed in the "new" gravy fries which were $7 for a large. They're not what they once were. Burger was fantastic but the tater tots served with it were hard as a rock. Server seemed to be the only one working and wasn't very attentive and probably had too many tables. No free refills on a Coke?! Then to top it all off the bus person cleared stuff off our tiny table before we were finished eating it while we were requesting songs on vinyl night, and then they added a 20% gratuity to my Visa card after I'd already written zero on the gratuity line and left cash on the table. I could see the mandatory gratuity for a large party or over a certain amount spent but for a party of 2 and a $24.50 check? Bullshit. Service was probably worth a 10%...

They took our cover, let us spend money inside prior to the show starting THEN told us we would have to get in the back of the line to get back in after having a smoke regardless of the fact that we already paid cover. Basically, they're selling more 'tickets' than they can provide and ripping people off. If you are a smoker don't go here unless you don't mind standing outside and missing the show you paid to see....

The bathroom was filthy and one of those kinds of places you wonder if you're being taped on hidden cameras. It's too bad I heard great things about this place they couldn't deliver on. I feel bad for the really sweet waitress who is likely to get ripped off by people who go out to smoke prior to paying their tab and don't come back...

Small intimate venue, split in 2: restaurant as u walk in.. then the venue side with a bar (separated by a wall with a large opening in the middle, about 10 ft wide). Can order from the restaurant during a concert, menu limited to burgers, fries, sandwiches etc. Only downside: large garage door size front window is opened (in October, making it really cold inside. Have to dress for outside temps ; ) However, same window was opened in April and it was comfortable. As of April 2025: Years-long street construction has caused a major reduction in revenue: they announced a temporary closure--until the construction is completed 8( It's a massive city-wide project, water mains etc, not just asphalt, covering many city blocks. Will update this post when...
