After getting PTSD from the super! loud! speaker! in Drive-Thru, I pulled forward towards the window with just one car in front of me. After waiting a LONG time, we pulled forward and paid, and again waited a LONG time for the food. (They were not all that busy, unless they were mobbed inside- couldn't tell.)
I had ordered my burger to be plain with onions only, and apparently that was confusing to them. That means I Only wanted onion on it, not that I didn't want ANY topping. But okay, not a deal breaker. But, when we finally got the food, it was just mediocre. The burger patties seemed to be missing some seasoning, and were over-cooked and dry. The fries and tots, were Meh. For the crisp burrito, I was expecting something like Taco Time's "Crisp Meat Burrito." Instead I got a $2.99 Gas station burrito that seemed like it had been sitting around for a long time.
I will likely not bother coming here again- there are much better places. Ranked in order for the area would be 1) Jack's Drive-in (down the street), 2) In-N-Out Burger (the chain from CA), 3) McDonald's 4) Burger King 5) Gem In & Out. Sorry guys- I'm not sure why you have such...

Gotta admit though, I did ask locals on the local foodies FB page, "Hey, where can I get a burger like In & Out." I did not know better. Shout out first, to 13th Street Pub and Grill in the Hyde Park 'hood. They have a burger that will 'break yo mouth'. Set a brand new standard for me.
Heard about Gem In & Out from many locals and my clients, so I knew sooner or later I'd be driving thru for a burger. Got the Gem Burger meal, even though I'm not a big fan of ham. The burger was ono and so were the fries. Drive-thru moves a bit slow, but you can tell they are making it fresh as you order. Next try will be their Taco Burger. I like they have their own spin on fast food favorites and I try to support local businesses as much as I possibly can.
I'd love it hit this place up more often, but I gotta work out more to justify the extra calories, fat and salt. . . but man, whatta way to go.
Note: Again, no photos as there are more than enough here sharing the...

I ordered food thru the drive thru at around 7ish and got home to realize they forgot to give me part of my order. I called to speak to the manager (Jack) who by the way will talk over you and is very rude! He told me I could come back and get my food or they take my name down and can come back another day . Meanwhile I’m without my dinner. After working all day to go back out for one dinner which I paid 50 dollars for is upsetting. I did go back to get what I paid for but i will Not be back. I asked for my meal to be replaced since the rest of my order will be cold cause I have to go back out.He replied no he can’t do that so I was upset and asked for a full refund he said no again and that I can speak to another manager in the morning to resolve my problem. I can’t began to tell you how upset I am about how I was treated like it doesn’t matter that I had to drive all the way back there or I go without my dinner, or that my kids have to...
