I normally love this place and know they are always busy. The coffee is t the best but it's the atmosphere that's cool. I recently went into the Nampa one with my 2 lils on our way to a nearby market. I was happy to wait in line and wait for the order and keep my kids waiting and respectful but us still peaking at the gift shop and having fun. The people making and or setting drinks down wer butchering order after order and just leaving drinks sitting there no one grabbing because they were wrong and everyone was confused. I walked up and politely asked if one of them was my order and told my order. They then butchered my order 3 times in a row and the last time he didn't remake it just poured I'm assuming straight milk on the top of my messed up order. So I just took it and said thank u and had to throw it away it was so terrible and just cried. I know it sounds silly but just the way my one treat I get for myself as a busy mom went and ther was no sorry or slowing down to fix it right and just wrong...
Read moreBoth times I've tried the coffee it has been below subpar. It is bland, bitter, burnt and blah. Nampa store serves exceptional coffee consistently. The Boise branch has passable drinks but nothing worth craving.
I don't understand how the same company can have such a wide inconsistency. Also, the ambiance at the Caldwell store could use some more cozy couches. It feels very metallic and austere. I understand that, for the most part, Caldwell customers tend to be more conservative, but good coffee and cozy sitting and quirky decor is what keeps the Nampa store so busy.
Parking is difficult downtown Caldwell so please make the coffee worth going for. I was so looking forward to having a great coffee shop to go to, but the baristas need a lot more training or they should be replaced by people who love and know coffee.
Jolts and Juice is still the best coffee...
Read moreThe people and atmosphere are great. However, they closed for snow, but that's when the public needs them the most. The drink size maxes out at 16oz, which they should go to 20oz. The workers are friendly and it's always clean. Sometimes, if one bathroom is blocked, you have to ask someone to unblock it. They told me it was being cleaned, but it had already been cleaned, and they forgot to unblock it. It's a big deal that both bathrooms are open because coffee is a diuretic. The food choices taste good but mostly unhealthy, not for diabetics. I saw the girl making the no bake cookies with no gloves on, its not a thing if they were baked, they aren't. The normal egg fritters were sold out, so no non sweet food was left to order. Honestly, it's sort of the only decent coffee house at Indian Creek for now. Their strength is in the employees...
