As always I feel it necessary to update my review as necessary.

I want to say kudos to Roots owner shelly, she has made roots an awesome friendly place to go hang out and have some drinks at. Shelly not only knows how to make some great drink but she's also pumping out some good tasting food. Her hard work and dedication to perfection definitely shows and produces results. If you catch her tending bar, which isn't uncommon, your in for a treat. She knows her stuff! I haven't seen a drink that she doesn't know how to make, And make good!

I look forward to experiencing her newest endeavor that's currently in the works. A tequila bar that will be situated in the front of the building and adjacent to the roots entryway.

You won't have a hard time meeting friendly people. Be it the bartender or a local, hiding from the Mr. or Mrs. while having a cold...

I first stepped foot into this bar about a year ago. This has got to be one of my all time favorite bars! The staff are super attentive, you won't have a pile up of empty cups or condensation from cups on the counters, they keep the experience clean and comfortable.

Roots has tons of fun social opportunities like karaoke, bingo, pool, shuffle board, pull tabs and a live dj not to mention rotating happy hour specials! EVEN a "happier hour"!

The owner and her staff are sweet hearts, its as if I've known them my whole life. So do expect great service, lots of fun and a warm atmosphere!

One last note, this bar is smoker friendly, their ventilation is great. I am not a smoker and usually stay out of smoking bars, but choose to travel out to roots to have a few cocktails from...

It was taco Tuesday so I ordered tacos they came in an old metal cake pan. The beans and rice were $2 more, no salsa, sour cream, not even a slice of lime! And it was cold because it had sat on the bar for a minute or 2 before the server brought it to our table. My husband ordered a chili cheese Burger... They brought him chili cheese fries. So he told the server he ordered a chili cheese Burger and it took 15 minutes before he got his food, At least it wasn't cold.
