Los Beto's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Caldwell

I usually come here for lunch because the food is really good and large portions for a cheap price. 10/10 recommend. Great service. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Today I was in line in the drive through and I had my window down, the car in front of me was at the window. The woman in the car said “can I ask a question?” and then just started screaming and degrading the cashier in the drive through. I could hear the whole conversation. The woman working at betos was nice and was trying to explain and fix a situation, but the lady in the car did not give her the chance to make anything right and was talking over her and screaming for everyone to hear. The lady in the car called the woman working in the drive through foul names and sped off in her car. It was honestly really hurtful to see someone get treated that way. I could hear/see the interaction in front of me and the woman on shift was being kind, doing her job, and was trying to explain and make things right. The lady in the car didn’t even give her the chance to make it right. When I pulled up to the window I felt really bad and i apologized for how the woman in front of me treated her. I just wanna say the people who work here do an amazing job and make really great food. Don’t forget to tip the people who serve you. I definitely recommend eating here....

The food is pretty good stuff and it's pretty good size portions so that's definitely a plus when you're a giant like me. My two go to at this place are the Chile Verde burrito which is more like a shredded carnitas but when I get home I have verde sauce I add to it as I eat it and to have complete transparency I'm not bothered that there's not a lot of Verde sauce already on it lol The other is there shrimp and carne asada plate which is straight-up crack... I mean crack... It comes with two giant homemade flour tortillas that would be awesome to eat by themselves lol. I have had one mistake with them and my son and I have been eating from there at least once a week since covid-19 happened back in March since they have drive up service. That's a pretty good run for service and getting your order correct and that's why I give them five stars because in my mind they are definitely a go to...

When you ordered a #16 chicken chimichanga with no guacamole and no refried beans but whole beans on the side…only to be handed a plate full of refried beans and a chimichanga sitting in the middle soaking up all the beans…I let them know the mistake…they took my plate then didn’t want to remake it (apparently) so they handed me the same plate back and a side of whole beans…which I would have been okay with…not happy but okay…until I got home and found my chicken chimichanga is literally stuffed full of refried beans. And also the whole beans have absolutely NO flavor. Seriously guys? If I could 0 stars. I have issues almost every time I go to this location and it’s almost always with freaking beans. Why is it only ONE of the workers is able to get my order right? And I know it’s not a language...
