I was contemplating leaving this review for about two weeks. My decision to proceed with the bad review has mostly to do with concerns for future patrons, as I will not ever return as a customer. (Even though the staff could use a lot of help as well.)
Upon ordering my double cheeseburger in my daughter’s kids meal, we had it over to the drink station to fill our drinks. We were approached by a homeless man, who was older, stinky, dirty, wearing a woman’s shirt, kid, shorts, with his belly and butt crack, hanging out. He told my daughter, who is six, that she was the most beautiful Six-year-old he’d ever seen. And then started rambling on about a car accident he saw, which was extremely hard to even make out because he was mumbling. My daughter and I felt extremely uncomfortable, so we tried to leave the conversation and find a booth furthest away from the altercation. Afterwards, I caught wind that he had done something in the restrooms, and I saw several employees gloved up to go clean the men’s restroom. After that, the same individual, it was acceptable to strip down in the front of the store, which my six-year-old daughter saw because we were at a booth near the window. She was facing back-and-forth yelling at people and himself. Meanwhile, a different shifty individual kept moving from table to table with no food or drink. Each table he moved to was still surrounding me with different access points. It was extremely uncomfortable, because I had no idea what this guy was going to do. Eventually, after I made sure that he saw me see him, he decided to leave. I waited 27 minutes for my double cheeseburger and a kids meal. When it was delivered to my table, I had a single patty in my my burger. I brought the burger up to the front and explained that I paid for a double cheeseburger and would like a double cheeseburger. So I went back to the booth while my daughter finished her kids meal. Shortly after, an employee brought me my same burger back with an extra patty on the side that had cold cheese on it. I seriously couldn’t believe my eyes, I did not pay for a deconstructed Cheeseburger, with an extra patty on the side with cold cheese on that. I was so upset about my experience this far, that I told the employee it was fine, and I would just eat it anyway. After my best efforts to try and enjoy my cold cheeseburger, an employee that was working, was on break and in the booth next to me with his friend. Every other word he used was a curse word. I understand that one or two may slip for young adults, but if I had to guess I would say my daughter and I witnessed 15-20. These two young boys went back and forth in conversation for over 10 minutes cussing. I was getting very anxious and I could tell the family right next to me was feeling the same way because they also had a young child with them. Eventually, I stood up out of my booth and asked the young boy to please stop cussing. He told me that that was just the way he talked . And that he will not stop. So I proceeded to ask for the manager, who seemed extremely young and intimidated about the situation. I sincerely hope the employee was properly consequenced. I’ve been a loyal Culver’s, customer for several of years, but this entire experience has really lowered my expectations. The atmosphere and safety is not suitable for families or children. It would also have just been nice to enjoy the cheeseburger that I ordered at a warm temperature that was properly made, Especially If I was expected to deal with all of the other surrounding circumstances. Extremely disappointed, and I will...

The drive through was pretty backed up, so I thought I would park and my wife would run in and get an order to go. I stayed in the car with our 3 children so she could order the food. The restaurant wasn't busy inside, so I figured it would probably be faster then waiting in the long drive through. My wife stood there for 15 minutes waiting, I could see her from where we parked. She's a patient woman, especially with 3 boys, 4 including me. We knew the restaurant drive through was backed up, but the lobby wasnt busy at all. She didn't say anything still after 15 mins. Then I noticed that the customers that came in after her were getting their food. Now the drive through is clearing out too. After 20 minutes, my wife had to go up to the counter and say something. They apologized, realized that they definitely overlooked our order. They gave us vouchers for a couple free meals, which was nice and appreciated, but the fact that she was standing in the lobby right in front of the staff for 20 minutes and no one thought to ask her anything or acknowledge her at all and she had to go up to the register and inquire about our order was pretty bad. I hope this was just a rare mess up and they don't do this often. My kids really enjoy Culver's, but service like that may effect our decision to go there...
Read moreI love Culver's in general, but this location has fallen on hard times. Maybe it's the mgr, or the quality of the available help, but when we started going here in 2020 it was fine, but somewhere in 2022 the place got musty/stinky. They aren't cleaning it well. Then, you can't even sit on the main aisle along the East side of the store b/c 3, 4, up to 6 workers go on break at a time and congregate over there. A) I complained once to the mgr b/c these workers on break were loudly cussing in front of my kids. Mgr just walked into the back--didn't say he'd address it. Idk. B) Another time a worker met their non-employee friends on break. Loud, sat next to my family, bought nothing. Just loitering. C) Another time, two employees--who happened to be a black kid and a latino kid--were legit shouting about US immigration policy, as if they were going to solve it on a 15-minute break by Googling stuff and yelling it at one another. D) Another time 6 were just standing around and you couldn't even walk down the aisle. Had to walk all the way around. Just no self awareness or basic customer service smarts. E) And one of those times at least 5 tables had garbage on them the entire time we were there . . . while the teen workers sat around/stood around on break. Do your jobs.
Bad mgr and bad help is...
