We drove from Poway to meet family members for a special occasion and choose to dine at the naked Cafe. Unfortunately we were illegally ticketed.. while dining at the restaurant and parking legally in the lot. See below...The guys who run the parking are running a scam. We went to naked Cafe and this ticket was on our window. We have a handicap placard AND had talked to the parking attendant telling them we were going to the naked Cafe. When we finished we and several others found illegal tickets on our cars. This lady told us that she didn't recognize our car and thus put a ticket on it. This ticket was not valid, was harassment. The lady changed her story 3 times as to why the car was ticketed (1.it's employee parking, which it's clearly posted it is not, it is for customers which my photo proves we were...2. that it's was posted, which it was not 3. That handicap doesn't apply, it does) please also note that we did not violate a time limit which would not apply to handicap anyway and that they do not have the proper signage posted for handicap parking which requires the California code and other details. She also said it was a private lot and they can do what they want, which again is a violation of several laws including restricting access to disabled patrons. This was a scam for 60 dollars and is disgusting. We were not the only ones ticketed, there was a line of people that were arguing their tickets. My guess is the( lazy parking person- I guess the name is their company, look in her shirt) likely ticketed most of the cars and just hope to get away with it. We want total recision of the ticket and an apology from the staff that discriminated against us and illegally ticketed us. If we are not satisfied within 3 days of this posting, I will seek further claim with a disability lawyer and ask the public that got illegal tickets should complain to management. Hopefully the owner of the naked cafe is outraged at the treatment of their guests and will handle this immediately. Do not go to this lot until a change in the parking policy is made it you might get the same treatment....

My boyfriend raves about this place so many times, and I mean so much that he brought me here to try! We got seated fairly quickly on a sunday morning, and it was pretty busy, but they have tables inside and outside. We ended up getting lots of things, the Green Heart Quesadilla, Bacon & Avocado Toast, Strawberry Chocolate Chips Pancakes, and a large Hot Cocoa.I have no words, because this has fully turned me into a breakfast person, because I need this every day!
Each dish was so delicious, I really enjoy the Bacon and Avocado toast, as it was smeared with this delicious pesto spread, and had potatoes on the side. The crunchy bacon was fantastic, and having the sweet strawberry chocolate chip pancakes were fantastic. I wish there was a bit more strawberry in the pancakes however.
The hot cocoa is a MUST, if you're a fan, it's a huge cup that looks like it's over the top full, and with a large amount of whip cream, it just melts in your mouth. I also tried my boyfriend Green Heart Quesadilla and WOW, this was fantastic as well, also has that creamy pesto spread in it. Overall, we really enjoyed the environment, the waiter was kind, and the art around the store was pleasant to see of artists (the art is also for sale!)
Parking is a massacre, it's a large complex with limited room, so l'd definitely recommend doing street parking or just be aware you...
Read moreWe ordered carry out. The staff answered our questions, with some research.
We ordered extra maple syrup and received none.
With the dietary limitations in our family, we are well-versed in what is possible with GF/vegan food - Naked Cafe wasnât even close.
Our childrenâsâ GF pancakes were edible, although they did not match what was pictured online at all (dark, whole wheat-looking batter, although GF).
The Funky Munky pancakes were dense and lacked richness or fluffiness. The bananas added a tolerable level of sweetness, but I made it through half of a pancake (pan puck is more like it) out of two before I couldnât tolerate anymore.
I found the restaurant difficult to find in the shopping center (we donât live here), having circled all the way around, finally just searching on foot for what turned out to be a 1x2 ft sign over a door.
I called about the missing syrup, but they just explained they had put it in the bag with no offer to make amends. So, I had to stop at the grocery store for a $9 bottle of syrup, since we were too far away to go back for it - then causing the food to have to be microwaved.
Pretty disappointing experience...
