Staff needs additional training on courtesy and common sense. Placed curbside order after waiting in a drive thru line that wasn't moving. 10min later i still have no order. I'm in full view of the drive thru window but I guess having that person note wben cars are sitting for excessive times is too much. I walk inside, go to the counter where food pick ups occur, and stand right at the counter in the standard "I need to speak to someone" position. (We're over 15min since I placed this order now) The young lady bagging orders does her stellar performance of an employee completely ignoring a customer who needs assistance. The manager now stops making food and comes to assist bagging orders. She also never said a word of "are you being helped" or "which order are you waiting for". I said excuse me once or twice (because I have manners) but the manager didn't hear me. The girl who did hear me just looked at me and then went back to said stellar performance mentioned earlier. (BRAVO 👏, way to commit). I finally tell the Mgr I've beenwaiting for an order for over 15min. Her response? "We only have a door dash order, I don't see a mobile order". So the other girl breaks character to help me and I show multiple screens on my phone to prove my order was placed and I was at the right location. When handing me my order, the mgr apologized but mentioned that sometimes the order doesn't come thru. 🤔🤔🤔🤔 so what you're saying is instead of operating like "uh oh another order didn't come thru again" we had to go thru this song and dance of McNutcracker? This is why ppl go off in fast food places. Cause their blood sugar drops so low and they get dilerious, and they're dealing with the rudeness before they can even tell you what the issue is! Smh. 2 stars cause the food was...
Read moreMy partner and I come to this location often, and we're never disappointed!
The restaurant is reasonably clean, including the bathrooms, and offers multiple kiosks to order from. The employees are kind, and it makes us feel so welcome whenever the managers recognize us and say hi! Any issues with an order are quickly and kindly resolved, and the food always comes out hot and delicious. We usually dine inside, but I've never experienced issues with the drive-thru the few times I've used it. One notable time I was asked to pull into a spot from the drive-thru lane, the manager hand delivered my order and apologized for the wait, which was maybe 3-5 minutes at the most for my multiple limited edition McNugget Buddy boxes, so I didn't mind at all!
With the tragic loss of the 24/7 McDonald's on Route 202, my only complaint with this Chadds Ford location is that I wish it was 24/7. However, as a food service professional myself, I understand the logistics that go into this schedule, notably staffing. I'm grateful for this location's amazing service in an age where fast food is becoming less and less "worth it." Thank you to the management here for making the best out...
Read moreIf you pay for large fries, you should get large fries in a full carton. Not have the hired hands who get paid a less than desired salary fill your carton to then only dump some of the fries out by shaking them. When the fry prices went up the managers who work the fry stations serve less fries to its customers. Notice when the managers and crew break the fill their cartons. They carry their food in the back in the crew break rooms. I have no problem with MCDONALD'S EMPLOYEES FILLING THEIR CARTONS WITH HOT FRIES! BUT, DON'T YOU THINK THE PAYING COSTOMERS WANT AND DESERVE THE SAME IF NOT BETTER. I MEAN YOU RAISED OUR PRICES ON FRY'S THE EMPLOYEES GET THEIRS FOR FREE.! OH. THE SANDWICH WAS HOT! THE DRINK MACHINE WAS WORKING THIS TIME ALONG WITH THE ICE MACHINE. THE RESTAURANT FLOOR WAS CLEAN BUT THE TABLES WERE HORRIBLE! THE RESTAURANT STARTED WITH 4 CASHIER. BOOTHS NOW THEY HAVE 2 AND ONE WORKER IS WORKING ONE OF THE 2 STATIONS. IF YOU TELL THE FORIEGN WORKER CASHIER IN CLEAR ENGLISH TO TELL THE FRY PERSON TO FILL YOU LARGE FRY CARTON. THEY WILL OK YOU THEN FORGET TO DO IT BECAUSE THEY ARE SO PRE OCCUPIED WITH ORDERS AND SHOULD I SAY SHE IN MY CASE, IS...
