Ben & Jerry’s — Restaurant in Chapel Hill

I’ve had a few really negative experiences at this store! The most recent time, I walked in to a completely empty store (all staff in the back and nobody seemed to be intent on getting out quickly.) This has happened in the past as well! Once in the store, I went to the restroom, which had urine on the seat, an empty toilet paper roll, and no paper towels. It’s clear that management and staff do not pay attention to those details. After leaving the restroom, someone was finally out from the back. I was visiting with both of my parents and the staff member was extremely rude and unwilling to answer their questions about how many flavors they could have with different sizes. The employee would just grunt and nod or shake his head and looked absolutely miserable to be there. By the time it was my turn to order, I felt like too much of a burden for this employee and decided not to order. I understand people have bad days, but this seems to be a pattern at this particular ben and Jerry’s and I’d urge anyone thinking about going there to go somewhere they have a better trained and...

EXPENSIVE!!! They are rationing. Either that or I’m not used to eating in the Chapel Hill area. You’ll be better off traveling to coldstone in Durham to make your own. We got 2 double scoops (smallest scoops I have ever seen in my life) and one of them was on a small chocolate cone and it was $20. I have never paid that much at an ice cream shop for 2 people. Definitely won’t be back. Save your money and go to Publix and get your own Ben and Jerry’s pint for a fraction of the price. And also I was given a popsicle stick to eat the ice cream. Man behind the counter definitely needs to help customers understand the dynamics of ordering. We gave him the size we wanted (usually places l've been to get the cup or cone then ask what you would like served) and then just stared and says.. okay... what do you want.. I was confused and thought he didn't hear the size .. so l repeated the size and he gets frustrated and says.. okay.. and... what. what did you want in that cup.. I explain that I'm sorry I thought he was going to get the cup and replied "oh and you need to see the cup or what?"
