Our cloudy weekend in Charleston turned out to be as dreamy as a sunny one. It also got us to places we would otherwise not have discovered. Spaced Magazine’s recommendations for Charleston, South Carolina: - Walk south down King Street. This historic street is full of shops, entertainment, and stunning architecture. When nearing the water, you will pass incredible mansions, some hundreds of years old with precious tucked away gardens. - Visit @magnoliaplantation. The gardens are a must-see and a fairytale to walk through. They offer tours to learn about and pay respect to the history of this plantation. - Grab drinks and bites at @herdprovisionschs. Such a fun crowd, relaxed atmosphere, and a stellar happy hour menu. - Stop by Burbon and Bubbles before heading out and have their espresso old fashioned. Hands down the best cocktail of 2023 we’ve had so far. - Eat and catch up on some work at @basic_kitchen. They have an extremely satisfying but healthy menu, and an awesome interior. - End the night at @graftchs, a small wine shop and bar with an awesome crowd. Even in the rain, Charleston was a blast and we’d definitely recommend a trip this summer. A quick and affordable flight from NYC and a no brainer if you can make it to the beach. It was 80 and sunny the day after we left 🫠 @spacedmagazine #spacedmagazine #charlestonsouthcarolina #charlestonsc #charleston #wheretotravel #travelvlog #travelinspo #beautifuldestinations #usatravel #southerntravel #garden #dreamy

If it tells you anything my wife and I were recommended this place by an employee from another wine shop in town. We were just visiting but both Miles and Femi made us feel like we were locals. Additionally, they were both extremely knowledgable and helped guide us towards choices that matched each of our particular tastes. Graft itself has a funky and relaxed vibe with great music. Unpretentious and welcoming describes the overall feel. We look forward to our next trip to Charleston and will most certainly be returning to Graft.

Loved the music, and the vibes are great. The first glass of wine I had was off just had a really empty taste to it but bad bottles of wine happen. The second one was great but we just missed the happy hour as they had changed the times. The place was really busy so not gonna hold service against them too much and only had 2 people working. I will be back to give them a second try though!

Miles and Femi have done a suberp job at making an excellent wine shop flourish into a Charleston mainstay. My hope is that their business emulates the future of wine consumption in the US. Overall vibe is relaxed with modern music that allows for an enjoyable evening. Excellent selection of wine with only $15 corkage fee allows for even those individuals with minimal budget for wine to really savor impeccable wines that they can consume inside and outside of the home. Highly recommending this establish is an understatement. Please stop at Graft while in Charleston. Only suggestion is to eventually provide daytime classes to educate the community on the craft of tasting...

I love this place and it's always a good time. I've known Femi for a number of years met him when I first moved to town and knew he was gonna do cool things. The wine selection here is the best in town by a mile and the have some cool ones. Just be prepared to pour yourself into a can at the end of the night. Best time to go is when they have live music the place is really rocking then. It can get a little loud so be fair warned. The staff there are all amazing and take some of the best company photos. Do yourself a favor and stop buy for a glass you'll be...

Love this place! If you are ever in Charleston, SC you should differently stop by. A really cozy spot, great for a date, solo, or to grab some evening drinks with some friends. The owners Miles and Femi are very knowledgeable including the rest of the Graft Wine & Bar staff which are always hospitable, and willing to provide recommendations, ensuring a great experience for both the naïve and the sophisticated customer. Superb wine expertly paired with the meats and cheeses. The cheeses in particular were comparable to some of the best I’ve eaten in...
