A series of service failures. A recent visit over the weekend was pretty underwhelming. The good: Beautiful decor, very diverse staff and large space with a semi-private dining and patio option. The opportunities: As a first-time patron, I had high hopes around this visit. While our server was upbeat, there were service issues within his control. To begin, he missed taking a drink order early in the process because the overhead music is too loud. I ordered the margherita pizza which looked great, but had zero flavor..I mean, ZERO. Texturally, it was like thin, firm, cardboard. Hard as communion bread. I couldn't believe it. This was also confirmed by someone who tried it. I previous mentioned (to the.waiter) I was starved and later found that they had pastas I did not previously see on the QR code menu (at least one paper menu should be provided), I ordered the pizza due to limited options and visually expressed some hesitation around that order in favor of the pasta. Now, while I was still deciding, the waiter said my pizza was coming up with no acknowledgment of my hesitation. Could I have insisted on the change? Yes. But, in my experience, servers would make that process more comfortable, ensuring customer satisfaction. Even after it was clear I wouldn't finish the majority of the pie, there was no inquiry around satisfaction. This was after my request for fresh pepper on the salad that was never fulfilled. Another guests salmon was cooked well, but they were surprised at the smaller portion with tiny bed of shaved brussels for the price. We tipped 22% (largely due to the automatic options on the payment software) but did not receive that level service. If I ever return, it may only be for cocktails and atmosphere. Others were with us and were not "wowed' by the food selections (pork pasta and beet salad). Our individual bill was around $125, and we iterally left and went right to Sullivan's spending another $150 on the dinner we were supposed to have at Sixty Vines. Not a good first impression at all.

Extremely disappointed and embarrassed by our experience here. A friend and I organized a birthday dinner for our friend here. She made the reservation a week in advance and even followed up a few times throughout the week to ensure everything would go smooth the day of the birthday dinner for our friend. She called the restaurant to ensure they had a heads up we would be arriving soon since we had a large party. Upon arriving on time for the reservation, we were informed we would need to wait 10 - 30 minutes for our table to be ready. After waiting for about 20 minutes and asking how much longer until the table would be ready, we were told they were just wiping down the tables from the previous party and we would be seated soon. Another 20 minutes passed by and we asked again why it was taking so long to simply wipe down the tables. We were informed the table was in fact not ready yet and they were still waiting on the previous party to leave the table so they could clear it. We did understand the length of time parties choose to stick around after is out of their hands but at this point, we were frustrated that they misled us with their original updates and considered finding a new restaurant for dinner. We were finally led to our table about 45 minutes after the time of our reservation. Unfortunately, things kept going downhill.

We ordered drinks and meals. After waiting a while for our food and checking in with our waiter, we were informed the wait was a little longer because they made sure all of the food was ready before bringing it out. Finally, they started bringing out food. Everyone but the birthday girl received their meal. We thought maybe her food was right behind the rest of the food but after ten minutes had passed we had to ask where her food was. Our waiter ran to the kitchen to find her dish and returned with a plate of only two pieces of chicken breast with a few green peppers which did not look at all like what was described on the menu and was missing several ingredients. He informed her they had ran out of some ingredients so her meal would be on them and they would also give her an added side of potatoes if she wanted them. She accepted and tried to eat the chicken even though she was not a fan of the dish. After taking a few bites of the chicken she realized it still looked undercooked and pink in the middle. We confirmed it was definitely undercooked after fully cutting into the chicken and finding it pink and raw looking in the middle. Although she did not want to make a huge deal at that point and just wanted to get out of there, we called our waiter over and showed him the chicken. We didn’t want her leaving hungry so we just requested a burger with no cheese to go for her. When the burger finally arrived, there was cheese on it so we asked for one without cheese since our friend could not eat that. After a good bit of time passed with no sign of the new burger, we tracked down our waiter to ask where it was. After going to the kitchen, he returned empty handed and informed us they did not make another burger despite another order being put in. At this point it was midnight and the restaurant had been closed for an hour. The birthday girl left only having eaten some potatoes and a few bites of undercooked chicken.

Our waiter, John, did his best to remedy the situation throughout but we were extremely disappointed that we had so many mess ups throughout the night. Overall, I wish a manger or anyone at that point had taken better charge of the multiple situations throughout the night and made sure the service truly was improved and people were receiving acceptable dishes. It was an embarrassing situation for my friend who made the reservation and highly recommended the restaurant initially. It also ruined the night for the birthday girl who was trying so hard to go along with the constant mess ups but left still very hungry and unable to go through with her birthday plans for that evening because after the entire fiasco, we did not leave...

Our group of 11 people collectively agree that this was the worst dining experience we have ever encountered. We are all still in shock about how bad this night was and feel absolutely terrible that this is how our friends bday played out. Our entire party arrived for an 8:30pm birthday reservation and weren’t seated until an HOUR past. When I asked the hostess about updates she claimed the tables are “being wiped down” yet we had to continue waiting another 30+ more mins? The manager I spoke with initially lacked any empathy regarding the wait time/the hostess’ claims of the table being wiped down for us. The food came out incredibly late and the food was BAD. The birthday girl’s food came out even later, her food finally arrived when the rest of the table was nearly done eating and it was not even the meal she ordered. The server apologized and let her know that the ingredients for her dish were not available, instead they served her undercooked chicken with a side of potatoes.

She obviously could not eat this and the server (John) felt so bad he offered her something else on the menu for her to take home bc by this point it was almost 11pm. She asked for a burger to go with NO cheese. The burger came out and had 3 slices of cheese on it. We let the server know the burger had cheese which the birthday girl could not have so we asked for a new one again with no cheese. We were under the impression another one was being remade. When another 20 minutes had passed with the remade burger nowhere to be found, we had to ask where the burger was so we could leave. Our server went to check on the order and came back to inform us they never made a new burger despite him putting in a new order. At which point we just wanted to get out of there. So the birthday girl left hungry after only having a side of potatoes for her meal.

Our entire party had arrived at 8:30pm but we did not leave the restaurant until after midnight (when the restaurant itself closed at 11 pm) as a result of their constant mess ups.

This experience was so horrible it was almost comical by the end of it. Our server John was incredibly kind and the issues had nothing to do in his part. He felt so bad the entire night and was evidently frustrated for us things kept getting worse and worse. This dining experience truly tainted all of our moods although we tried our best to keep positive/downplay the issues for our friends birthday throughout the night - somehow problems continued arising and things just kept piling on and it became difficult, it tainted the night for all of us.

I had chosen this place because I had an excellent experience when I brought my mom here last week, however this experience was the complete opposite and I felt utterly embarrassed that I was the one who chose this restaurant because of how beyond horrible...

I go to Charlotte for business a lot I was extremely excited when I found out they had opened a location here as I have been to the Nashville and winter park, Florida location multiple times. I was not sure how busy the location would be considering it was new and it was always super booked at the other locations I had been too. I made a reservation for one considering I was on a business trip alone. When I got there and it was made aware I was there for a party of one, there were multiple comments that suggested it was odd I was there by myself even though it was a Wednesday night and I made my reservation for one. When I was sat I heard the host say to my waiter that there was only one in my party, completely fine I was sat at a table for four I understand. The waiter proceeded to come up and ask how many was in my party and I said just me there was a very awkward silence as he proceeded to pick up the extra plates around me. I have always had more than exceptional services at the other locations I have been to. I ordered a drink and was not checked up by my waiter for quit some time they were not that busy and the tables around me were continuously checked up on. My waiter finally came back for my order and I was starting with a salad and also ordered my entree. My salad was delivered to me and it was amazing per usual. I finished my salad and was almost done with my drink when I was asked if I wanted another one. I told my waiter I was okay for right now but would like this wine with my dinner. There was a wait before my dinner came out but I did not mind the wait. My dinner was served by another server and my original server never came back to me to make sure everything came out okay and I still had not been served my second glass of wine. I continued to look around for my server as I wanted my wine with my meal and he did not come back to check on me, but was still there checking on the few tables around me. Once I had only a few bites left of dinner I was finally served my wine by yet another server. I finished my wine and was ready to leave as the whole experience was uncomfortable for me and my check was eventually given to me once I had my card out on the table ready and my coat on and I didn’t see my original server again. I love the atmosphere and the food. I have always had an amazing experience at all other locations. The services was not the normal Sixty Vines service I am used to. As a well as making me feel uncomfortable with comments made that I was dinning alone. I don’t mind spending the money there because it’s good food an typically good service, if I was not left feeling awkward and uncomfortable by the experience I would’ve ordered the Devil’s food Affogato my favorite dessert there but I was...
