Waterbean Coffee — Restaurant in Charlotte

I ordered a drink that is similar to what I get from Starbucks. I don’t like all the extras. Just some espresso, almond milk and a little flavor. My main intent is to get that pick me up & to not spend too much.

She insisted on making two drink options that costed at least $5 more than what I got, not including the price of two more espresso shots. I’m glad I asked the price before agreeing! Once I shot that down I still thanked her with a smile but you could immediately tell she still got offended. I tipped her still. I said thank you twice. Nothing. Grabbed my drink, have a good day. Nothing. Why do customer service to begin with. I would happily take my money back if I could & am glad I didn’t tip more because it’s the privilege for me. It was my first time here so that also adds to it.

This place never seems to show up when searching "coffee" on Google Maps but it's a great option. The coffee is well-made, they have an app in which you can order ahead and earn points (but doesn't allow you to pay with Google Pay). They have some really amazing custom drinks.
