Stopped by here while on a little 2-day vacay from Bham. The place was packed in the ballroom side due to a Navy vet's celebration of life.
Couldn't watch the Chiefs game due to some issues the staff had finding syndicated channels, but that's okay cause Taylor Swift irks me to no end and finding out she was anywhere in a 10 mi radius of Kelce made me wanna hurl.
In any case, had a great time sitting at the bar and shooting the breeze with some locals over their New Fruit Goofin' (I believe it was called?).
The place was clean, the service was decent, and there was plenty of overflow parking even though the main lot behind it was packed with the vets.
The only downside was the bathrooms. Although I liked the fancy stalls with built-in sinks, when you get low enough to the toilet, the bottom of the doors are high enough people can easily see your pants around your ankles without even trying to duck and catch a glimpse... it was just creepy.
On a lighter note, I got a 4-pack of the Frieda to go and shared it with a new friend I met back at the hotel....

Also, I finally tried the Mexican food at Taco El Vez (the Mexican spot inside the brewery) and it did not disappoint. That was a delicious burrito! Can't wait to eat and drink here again!
Update: Stopped by again this time in Chattanooga and the beer was good as usual. The last time I came the set up was different. I liked this new setup much more. It's more like a stand alone brewery. Nice seating inside and out. Friendly bartender. Good times.
Here's another great micro brewery to visit in Chattanooga. All the beers I've had here are cold and delicious. You have ample seating inside and outside being that this brewery is located inside Market South.
The beertender was very knowledgeable on all the beers and all of them were good.
It would also be a great place to drink with friends who don't drink because there are food and coffee options inside...
Read moreI hate to write a negative review, but was expecting greatness from this new brewery based upon their pedigree (owners/brewers from Great Divide - one of the top breweries in Colorado), but I haven't been impressed at all. Visited the day they opened...no great brews to speak of. Visted a week later...was charged for a beer I didn't have and had to provide my credit card twice (it didn't "take" the first time it was swiped to open my tab...if that were the case how was an extra beer added to my tab?). The aforementioned staff issues are teething problems that I'm sure will be corrected, but the main problem I have is the beer itself. Finished my latest visit with an Oktoberfest beer that had absolutely no taste. Last time I checked, a malt forward beer is supposed to have malts in it. May go back in a year or so (assuming they're still in business) to see if their beers...
