Had dinner last night before a show and once again The Meeting Place delivered a great experience. Our server, Josh, was attentive and professional, our food tasted amazing and was served piping hot, and the prices are very fair for what you get. My wife had the Friday night spaghetti and meatballs which was very good (especially the meatballs). I had the MP Fried Rice with Pork Belly. It is possibly my most favorite dish in Chattanooga. The flavors are unreal. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at TMP and left wondering why we do not go there more often.

We ate here the evening of 9th. Our food was wonderful. We chose a few well reviewed options due to popular opinion and we were not disappointed. Wait staff was attentive but didn't hover. Drinks were superb. The after dinner coffee was wonderful with the crème brulee. I will say we were the youngest people in attendance but we did eat rather early for the downtown crowd. Attire seemed to be more upscale or business class. We're already planning our next dinner out here! Can't wait to try some of the other menu items.

Wow! What a place. We stopped in for happy hour on a Thursday night before grabbing dinner somewhere after and were blown away. It was not crowded at all and we were seated upstairs in the bar area, which had an extremely romantic and relaxing atmosphere. Their happy hour menu is top notch. We greatly enjoyed the fall sangria and French 75. Service was quick and attentive. We will have to check this place out for food another time!

I just want to go ahead and thank two people, Ariana & Tim. They were absolutely amazing for going above and beyond in my quest from 1,100 miles away to find the owners of my employers and their clients a unique steakhouse restaurant last minute on a Saturday night. Also Mr Tim, made sure that he would make it happen. The original reservation was for 8:30pm and the group of 5, headed straight to the restaurant an hour earlier unexpectedly because they were right In the area already, so I immediately called the restaurant and told Ariana, and told her that they are parking outside ahead of schedule, I asked her if you could please get them in and her response was, I got you covered! Ariana, just didn’t stop there, she went outside personally and greeted them, and directly took care of them in a first class service manner. I wanted to just personally thank the both of them, for being just dealing with the unique situation at hand, as I am the owners executive assistant it’s my duty to make these thing happen. Lastly, their waitress, which I believe her name was Christina, I was told she was and I quote “she was just absolutely top notch”. So to Mr. Tim the manager, Ariana who I believe was the hostess/assistant manager & Christiana, thank you for making it happen last minute for me and my employer. Also I was told, the food was “very good!” Both the owners said their burger and steak (wagyu) was perfection. So thank you, Mr. Tim, Ariana and Christina, thank you very much for all yalls help! Thank you and...

My wife and I’d been to St John’s for our anniversary and it was great, but we thought for this one the meeting place might be worth a try. We had an absolutely wonderful time! Our server, Josh, and the accompanying staff made our dinner and experience truly special. We felt welcome, listened to, not sped along, and as though we were the only customer there. I didn’t realize it until I looked at the time as we were leaving, but we were also around a half hour earlier than expected, but the hostess sat us without issue or mentioning our misstep.

We got scallops and tartare for apps to share, salmon and duck for mains, and split the mocha bombe for dessert. my wife got a Malbec, which was smooth and complemented the duck well. I had the “muscadine with me”, and “frightened coconuts” (if I recall those name correctly). The cocktails were of a higher dining caliber than I, making me wish I had a more discriminating palette. I’d never had a drink made from “washed” spirits, but it was amazing; unctuous mouth feel and reasonably spirit forward. Glad I tried them!

The service was as good as we’ve had in Chattanooga, as was the food! The live jazz was a welcome surprise, as well.

Overall, an excellent evening. The meeting place feels skillfully run, accommodating, and is a business clearly prioritizing staffing great employees in front- and back-of-house positions. We definitely look forward to returning and enjoying more meals here, special occasion or not. Thank you again for such an...

This week’s been a rough one — a mix of personal stuff and some pretty underwhelming service at a few restaurants I tried. But MTG PL completely turned things around and checked every single box!

From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the sweetest hostesses, and then Alan — the bartender (I dined at the bar) — truly sealed the deal. He was incredibly kind, charismatic, and knew the menu inside and out. He ended up recommending almost my entire meal, down to the perfect glass of wine — and he nailed it.

As someone who helped open one of the nicest high-end casinos on the Las Vegas Strip, I know what a real dining experience should feel like. It’s not just about the food — it’s the service, the energy, the banter. Alan delivered all of it. While the food was good , I’ll be coming back because of him.

Thank you, Alan — and thank...
