This restaurant has so many decorations you'll find yourself bewildered by everything you see if it's your first time here. There's also a bunch of TVs so if you're looking for a place to watch whatever game you should be able to watch it here. There's a total of 55 beers on tap! That's absolutely wild. I'd love to go through all the one's I haven't tried. Some of the beers will be served in a mason jar and it'll be big. My partner ordered a bud light in said jar and it only cost $4! There's also a large list of cocktails. I tried the Mai Tai as I was feeling a bit crazy and because all cocktails are $1 cheaper on Saturdays. For food I ordered the House of Voodoo Tips with mashed tatters. It came with a choice of soup and a choice of corn or black-eyed peas. I was totally unaware of the soup (as far as I could tell it didn't mention it on the menu) but glad I had it. The Gumbo soup was delicious. The Voodoo Tips and peas were also very tasty but they give you so much I couldn't finish it. My partner ordered the Who Dat Steak Sirloin Down Yonder. This came with a choice of many sides. Whilst being very delicious she absolutely loved the cinnamon butter that was given on the side. Keep in mind, the portions are enormous. Thankfully, we were able to take away all our leftovers. Service was quick and wonderful which made the whole experience better. We needed quite a bit of time to go through the menu as it was HUGE. The waitress was very patient and helpful on any questions we had. Staff do not wear masks and there's no real social distancing enforced as far as we could tell. However, I think this may be a Wyoming thing.

Wow! There are absolutely too many great things to say. We were looking for something that everyone in our group could enjoy as we all came from different directions and decided this was the meeting spot. I studied the menu for days before actually sitting down to order and I still could not decide! The atmosphere as superb! Not to load that you can carry a conversation with an awesome Pub feel. The decor will keep your eyes wondering forever with always something new to see that you missed the first time. Definitely worth the wait. Now to the food! Everything I ordered was delicious with amazing flavor. After what seemed like a week of reading the extensive menu I opted for the Wake and Bake waffle burger.. Once again, wow! Everyone loved what they got with the exception of the fish and chips that were ordered. But hey, that's a hit or miss no matter where you are. The only two complaints area and maybe a few others have had one of these happen too is. This establishment does NOT have a chip reader for the credit card machine. So as I was on the phone to my card company after I was told my card declined, the nice lady on the phone said they tried to use the magnetic strip and not the chip. It must be entered manually. The other thing and this was a bigger issue.. If an establishment is having problems with a menu item they should have the decency to put it out their website. We were informed while ordering they are having a hard time finding buffalo. So the one substitution that I knew would work in everyone's favor was the one thing NOT available. See my wife does not eat beef, but buffalo, she'll tear apart one of those.

While traveling from Jackson Hole to Mount Rushmore, my family and I stopped in to the Grub & Pub for lunch and WOW were we very pleasantly surprised !!! The first thing that catches your eye when you walk in as that somebody spent a life’s fortune collecting very expensive memorabilia from long ago when the USA was appreciated by the Americans living here. This place is a museum of Americana, I’m jealous of the owner but proud that there are still special places in America that exist such as this, the entire family from kids to grandparents will be in awe of the interior decor, I could have spent hours there looking around. The restaurant was extremely clean and service excellent. I didn’t get her name but our server with short blonde hair was outstanding and her demeanor was sweet and amiable. A perfect 10 on every level. We ordered hamburgers and wings which were fantastic !!! The food was delivered very hot, fresh and tasty! We went several miles out of our way to stop here and the entire family was so glad that we did, I continued to be “super dad” because of this stop ! Do yourself and family a favor, stop here if you have the opportunity, you will be glad that you did. Very high accolades to the owner, I could spent hours talking to you about your amazing collection. WE WILL BE BACK !!! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

The food is the only reason they even got 1 star. The food was great, the service was absolutely horrible. Server brought out our drinks, left the drink tray, took our order, brought the order out, had to make 3 visits back because he forgot things on the order, then never offered to refill or get us new drinks. The drinks you see in the picture are the original drinks from when we sat down. We had to ask another server at one point to find our server because he forgot to bring something out, was going to go back and get it and we never saw him again (yep the original drink tray was still on that seat by the way). He finally came back (even though we saw him a few times previously and tried to get his attention), we had all finished our meals and he gave us the check (never grabbed any empty plates or offered to refill drinks) I can't say that being busy was an excuse because it wasn't that busy. Honestly, I love Sanfords, but that was the worse customer service I had ever experienced at a restaurant. Go at your own risk or make sure you bring a water bottle or drink your drinks very slow because the odds of a refill are second to none.

Sanford's is a MUST DO when visiting Cheyenne. My boyfriend selected it based on how many reviews were on Google, but we really had no idea what we were getting ourselves into when we walked through that door. It's filled with antique items, old signs, decorations absolutely everywhere - you'll never run out of things to look at. I thought the place was great from first impressions then it just got better and better... The service was excellent, and the food absolutely blew our minds. The portions are MASSIVE. I purposely ordered a salad because I wanted something light; little did I know, it'd be big enough to feed a family of 4. I had leftovers for the next three meals (not even kidding). My boyfriend ordered a 1/2 lb burger and got it served with grilled cheese on both sides. And did I mention unlimited fries??? For desert (or even just a side) - I highly recommend the sweet potato fries. They're sprinkled with powdered sugar and come with a delicious buttery sweet spread. I could just go on & on about this place. If you're in Cheyenne, seriously, don't hesitate for a second - Sanford's is a must do.
