Wonderful bar with wonderful people. Electric scenery. Outstanding ambiance and captivating music. Best bartender service in the city of Chicago. I refuse to have my Guinness stouts poured by anybody that is not associated with Celtic Crossings. The Irish vibes in this place make you want to learn Gaelic just so you can tell the bartender who poured up your drink you love them in a second language, and then order a second and possibly even third Irish car bomb in the proper Irish way. Think of this place like the Michael Jordan of Irish pubs, except this time he never retires and ends up winning 8 straight. Then after he wins 8 straight, he retires for one more additional year to return to baseball (except this time he’s actually good and wins the World Series in 6 games, Jordan never goes to 7), before ultimately making his long anticipated return to the NBA in pursuit of his 9th and final championship. Read moreSuper authentic Irish pub equipped, very quaint...... sat at the bar while waiting for dinner.... 2 bartenders on duty seemed chatty with their regulars. I kept to myself & drank a couple of their top shelf bourbons but it didnt seem like they knew much about, didnt seem like their clientele's typical spirit of choice.... heavy on the ice when drinking on the rocks and not my ideal style of ice for such a drink but again, for an old school Irish bar vibe My expectations weren't very high ..... was a perfect way to kill time...

In its Near North location is hard to find a simple, non-pretentious bar, but Celtic Crossings offers that. It offers a no-frills, inexpensive, kind and courteous experience.
