We have been coming here for quite some time now, but just take out and poke only. I have waited until I have tried their noodles before writing a more comprehensive review of their offerings.

Overall it is pretty solid, although we have had different experiences with the poke bowls. While the ingredients are fresh, the rice sometimes can be a bit too hard, and not the chewy hard, more like undercooked hard. I think partially because it was cooled so it won't affect the flavor of the fish and the other ingredients, but still. The ramen that I had was just ok. The miso flavor is not very strong, but it has a good soup base. The noodles were overcooked, no chew whatsoever but they haven't got to the point of falling apart. The worst part was the chashu, it is paper thin, but the meat itself was very nice, perfect fat and lean ratio. Now the beef noodle soup, perfect! The soup base, the noodles and the beef were all on point, strong five spice flavor throughout. There is plenty of meat in it. I would definitely come...

3 star due to cashier mishap. Ordered a braised noodle soup, not spicy-to go as I always order and there was a miscommunication from the cashier to the kitchen, when the kitchen prepared order 39 to be eaten in store today. They corrected the mishap as it can happen from time to time but the cashier had an attitude when giving my food at the register. Came home shortly to find out there was no boiled egg to which I look forward to eating when eating noodle soup and no veggies other than bok choy which would be ok had they mentioned it. Menu should be updated to remove egg and other vegetables or a discount $ taken off if certain items will be excluded due to varied supply shipment availability. Loved the soup, it was hot and flavorful a tad salty, just could use better communication and crosschecking since I was expecting to get what was written on the menu board. Would continue to come back here again for my lunch breaks as I usually do. I just will make sure my order is correct myself before I leave the...

Edit: I went again after a bad day, just because it’s close to my place. The manager remembered me and was very kind. She explained about the situation last time but tbh I couldn’t remember as much detail.

After all, the manager cares about customers. I really appreciate that especially after a bad day.

Original review:

Good food but bad service. Here's the dialogue. (Background: Beef noodle soup was so good except that they are not too generous with the tasty soup. Anyway it was totally worth it so I went again on an empty belly) Me: Beef noodle soup. Can I have some extra noodle? Her: Yes. $4 in addition. Me: OK -- I assume the extra noodle also comes with soup? Her: No. Extra soup is a separate $4 Me: $8 in total? Don't you think that's a little too much? Her: Yes. Do you want it? Me: ??? (repeated the last sentence) Her: Yes. Do you want it? Me: OK I don't want it any more.

I wasn't happy about the service. You decide if you are.

Deserves a 3 star but they only reply one...

I have a ton of allergies including soy. The build your own poke bowl was perfect. There was no cross contamination, and while it took a little bit to ask about ingredients in different sauces it turned out absolutely delicious. (Also points on their service because I did ask a lot of questions and they were reasonable about it.) My friend is gluten free and was happily able to eat there as well. The portion was large considering the price. Would absolutely go again if I was in the area. We were able to eat in their outside area dining area which was lovely this time of year.
