Arby's — Restaurant in Chubbuck

So I sat in the drive thru for a while. They were super busy. When we got to the speaker we could only see half the menu, because the truck in front of us didn't know how to pull up. We asked for them to wait, and the guy kindly did. We had questions and he kept answering with a happy tone. Very upbeat and positive. When we got to the window a manager named Shawn greeted us. And his opening line when he saw me in the passenger seat was, "You have a really nice smile I like it!" I was stunned. Never before have I been complimented at a fast food drive-thru. He then looked at my female companion and said, "Wow both of you have really great smiles!" We proceeded to chat while waiting for food and he was smiling and happy, and make me feel amazing. I was having a good day, and then seeing him and having that conversation just made my day just skyrocket. Best service experience ever. If more people acted like him, this world would be a better place. I would highly recommend this place. I know sometimes people want Burger King or McDonalds, but I would gladly go to this specific Arby's just for the customer service alone! So if you're in the area, and dont know where to go, try here. Food quality was great and fast. And a team that actually works as a team and gets it done right the first time. I just got home from ordering from the drive thru. I usually love Arby’s but I was super disappointed with this visit. I ordered the beef and cheddar meal with a side of Mac and cheese. First of all the lady who took my order was not friendly AT ALL. Which I understand for the most part fast food isn’t the most enjoyable job. When I got to the window she asked for my payment then handed my card back without saying anything else. She handed me my shake, again without saying anything and closed the window. I sat in the drive thru for literally 20 min waiting for my food. While I was sitting there one of the other girls kept coming over to the drink machine with no mask, and pouring herself little sips of the soda and drinking it out of the cup. With a pandemic that we are in, I find it a extremely unsanitary, and it made me honestly kind of nervous. When I finally got handed my food, nothing was said about the wait time or anything else. The girl just handed me my food and said have a good night snd shut the window. When I reached in my bag for my food I took a fry out and it was literally cold. I couldn’t believe it. It’s hard to give a restaurant a fair review because everybody’s taste are so different when it comes to the type of food that is being served and how it’s presented. We went here last night after watching a movie right towards closing. That’s why the rating for service is a five because even though we were only 15 minutes away from closing, they were still smiles at the counter. Happy to take our order even though you knew what they really wanted was for us not to have walked in. The place was clean. We are the only ones in there so it was quiet. Our food was quick. It was good. Nothing spectacular. I had the new Angus Philly cheesesteak sandwich. OK it’s not exactly what a real cheesesteak should look like or taste like but it’s better than a lot of places that tried to serve one. Again, it’s hard to give a review on food that is so relative to each and every individual out there who eats it but I thought it deserves a four.
