Omg even the old location was going down too fast to be unnoticed each week the food was tasting less and less impressive and the customer service...Wait a minute ... What customer service ? Ok , close it on Sunday , Mother's day , Father's day,- who cares ? Parents can always eat 6 days a week and fast on Sunday or buy tv dinners ahead.Should not be a big deal.Employer is always right he pays your salary.But when religious preferences of the employees forbid them to see the difference between the chunks of beef and chicken it is actually a big deal and deters customers from this glorious place.I do not want to see or tolerate chunks of chicken in my steak salad.And guess what ? I won't ! Had not gone to this place for a long while,mostly due to their negligent attitude and total lack of a desire to at least imitate some customer service skills and suddenly my wife had a random craving yesterday , and well... despite my protests made me go to their drive-through. Would you be able to imagine who persuaded her to leave this location and order her food elsewhere ? Costa vida employees themselves.There was only one vehicle in front of us , we were told by the guy he will be with us in a minute , when he was not in 10 (or 12 to be exact) even my wife agreed it was time to go elsewhere.When we backed up from their drive-thru , where there was that one and only vehicle still patiently waiting on their meal we saw there were at least 4-5 employees chatting in the building. Read moreThis used to be one of my favorite places to eat. But since they changed managers, it has been not a pleasant experience. Last night (Valentine's Day) I had received a notice on my Costa Vida app of a special buy one entree and two drinks and receive a second entree free. So I convinced another couple to eat there. We arrived at 5:45 pm and there was already a long line. (Understaffed) No problem, will wait. Placed our order after a 15 minute wait in line, but when we went to pay this is when it went downhill. I told the cashier that we wanted the promotion, she said there is a number on the app. I said it was a notification I recieved and I didn't see any number. She said open the app, the app would not open on my phone or 3 other people I line. So the cashier leave and walks back to the office where apparently the shift manager was just hanging out, instead of helping to wait on customers. She appeared and said she would call the manager to see what to do. So more waiting and at this point people are lined up to the entrance doors. She appears back and stated that there is nothing she can do with out the number. So we are frustrated and pay full price just so we can eat. We both left a review on the costa vida app about the experience. About 9:00 pm the manager calls me with a list of excuses and basically saying it's technology is at fault. But magically he discounted the meals and offered free burritos for a future visit. This guy doesn't realize that the damage was done when he didn't handle the problem from the start. Read moreedited to add We went ahead and did lunch here today, July 11, the customer service was great and the portions were normal. We did notice that the employee with the worst attitude was not there. I dont know if one person makes that much difference to the whole crew but we are completely satisfied with out experience today which is exciting because we really love Costa!
Our company eats here almost every week. We come here consistently because the food and service was consistently good until a few weeks ago. We noticed, at first, that there were some new faces and, because we know how it can be training new people, we excused the issues, however, it has only gotten worse. We pay for extra meat just to receive what would have previously been a normal amount, the employees are not friendly or apologetic when we point out an issue like a kids meal getting lost in the mix because they're not communicating with each other either and today I asked for the rice and beans to be put in a separate container, because we get our food to go and I didnt want the tacos to be soggy, the employee became visibly annoyed and proceeded to fill a condiment cup halfway with rice and another halfway with beans. We may be looking for another lunch venue for our weekly lunches after today because good food doesnt compensate for rude employees especially when it is continually...
