MISLEADING menu on overpriced smoothies that will not deliver.

Went in after a leg work out looking for a high protein smoothie. The place is very clean but and very small too. Not a deal breaker considering it is a fast paced “get in-get out” kind of industry.

I’m an almond/ peanut butter person myself so i opted for their very own ‘Healh Nut’ smoothie.

In the description it explicitly list these ingredients.

Health Nut peanut butter, banana, date, vanilla protein, housemade cashew milk, agave nectar

I ordered mine without agave nectar to avoid the extra calories. I got the small size which is about 10-12 oz cup for $ 9.39

When asked if i wanted protein, confusedly i refused because it is an extra dollar.

At that point i questioned why on the menu it says it comes with it but still gets charged. The kind barista said that it doesn’t come with it and i had to pay extra for protein.

I find it profoundly disappointing and unprofessional that this business has allure to a very misleading tactic to get more money out their smoothies.

After the “added” protein my bill came out to be $ 10.39 for a small smoothie. Overpriced considering their competition have their large smoothies at that price.

My smoothie was anything but that. The consistency was very liquified, watery, and thin.

I understand the smoothie industry is competitive and often times unforgiving but using these tactics and not delivering is UNACCEPTABLE.

I DO NOT recommend and will definitely try other juice bars with better value...

I patronize this business several times a week and today I placed an order online and had my boyfriend pick it up and bring it to me while I was at work. Upon arrival he refrigerated it for me so that I could eat it in between clients. However once I went to eat it the apples were brown and not appealing. So I waited until I got off work and brought it back so that they could remake it. When I arrived I explain what happened and ask if it could be made over. The first young lady said it could. Well when she went to the back I guess her co-worker Sahara had an issue with what I was requesting and was unwilling to accommodate me. I originally didn’t want my money back, but after her passive aggressive remarks and nonchalant behavior towards my concerns I asked for my money back. At the end of the day these fruit bowls are expensive and it should be fresh fruit every single time! I’ve never had an issue ever with quality or customer service, however today Sahara was very unprofessional and could have handled the situation better than she did. Disturbing I forgot to tell them not to put spinach in my cooler. Stop them while they were making it told them no spinach only to end up with spinach because they were already making the drink. Gave me the drink stating it didn't have spinach. Like I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. To have to come back pay again for what I truly wanted sucks. But never again will I order a smoothie. Just the bowls 😤😤😤😤😤 The smoothie was not remade without spinach.
