To think that a few days old fudge tastes so much better than fresh fudge, this is the place to do it.
Had the raspberry fudge, double chocolate (I think), dark sea salt caramel. I would recommend sticking with the chocolatey ones. The raspberry, although good, would rate better as a chocolate base in my opinion.
The one everyone has to try is the sea salt caramel. I think my mind was blown how good it was. The subtle saltiness cuts down the intense richness of the fudge just enough and the caramel, gives it that different sweetness to the fudge and just made it so tasty.
It took days for me to finish the chocolate and raspberry ones, but the sea salt caramel just finished everything so quickly!
This one is also one of the best sellers as recommended by the employee working.
With that being said, employee was super friendly and gave service with a smile. Explained the best flavours and fave is recommendations.
Love the feel of the location as it gave off a d diner vibe with the bright red and white interior colours.
Definitely recommend for getting fudge, especially if you can’t get to Mackinac.

Read moreOne of the absolute worst experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve lived in this area my entire life and this is the first time I had ever been here, my family and I were admiring this 60 degree Sunday in March, so we decided to give it a shot. We waited in line for about 15 mins, for ice cream, when we got to the counter to order, the 2 gentleman working did not acknowledge my family of 3 for a good 5 mins. They were not friendly what so ever, we ordered 2 shakes and 1 cup of a regular ice cream. AJ had very poor communication and seemed flustered and rude. While moving at a very slow pace, He took our order 1 by 1 and basically threw our order together with poor service. Needless to say, the shakes were disappointing and we will...
Read moreYikes! If you make your own fudge, your not going to like this stuff, especially the stuff up on the hill. It was dry and crusty, on the outside and left a bad taste in my mouth. I didn't try any fudge from Zac & Mac's second shop on main street.
And I never will because at their prices, it's not worth the risk. The peanut butter fudge was like a mouthful of sugar and lacked flavor. The Maple fudge was slightly more flavored, but the consistency was more like a thick frosting. At $25 for a couple small chunks, and a long drive, I expected at least home quality fudge. Don't get your hopes up on replacing your recipe with this stuff, sadly. I known, I could have used the break this...
