Our first time at this lovely local bakery. We have heard wonderful things about DiCamillo but it’s a little out of the way for us. Since we were in the area we thought it’s a great day to check it out.
We were not disappointed in the selection. There were breads, pastries, gelato, sandwiches, dried and frozen pasta and some pantry items. We decided to sample a few items an eclair, cookies and a pastry ring. The eclair was to die for. Yummy custard and chocolate icing were sandwiched in between light and airy pastry dough. The pastry ring was pretty good and was taken into work to share with coworkers. Finally the cookies, in our opinion, were ok. They were the kind that is a little on the drier side and that is just not our preferred cookie texture.
The bakery was much larger than we expected. There are some tables and window spots for indoor seating. If we visit on a warmer day we would love to try the gelato and possibly the cookie ice...

Such passion and pride in one’s work is hard to find these days and on top of that the product is nothing short of exceptional.
The customer service was amazing. Our dietary concerns were addressed with compassion and respect. Most of the products except for the pepperoni pizza and such are suitable for vegetarians.
We got the broccoli as well as the spinach ricotta pizza which were delectable as were the custard and cream filled donuts.
The bread just has that special texture and taste that elevates it from humble bread to something which blankets you with dopamine inside and out. A joy to see, touch and taste the wonderful texture and amazing flavour.
No wonder this is the bread everyone loves and talks about in...
Read moreLoved their Italian bread . Loved their doughnuts . Playing tourist staying in the area and found this lovely Italian bakery . Had their coffee and eclairs. I don't like being critical and being they've been around 100 years not much of what I say will matter . My only criticism was the choux pastry was over cooked and this is one of those on the day kind of things . The Italian bread is worth the five dollars at the time of my post . The peanut sticks are yummy and their other doughnuts are equally good . Nice place to sit in if you're staying in a hotel nearby that doesn't do breakfast . I went both days I was in town . Please come visit and support great family run local...
