I don’t usually write a review but I’m compelled to write this one. This past wknd was our 2nd visit to this location in much need of our Blonde (dropped off our college bound child) before heading back home from a 24HR airport marathon. On this occasion like the last, the wait time for coffee or even a croissant was easily 20min. And during this time of social distancing one would imagine the safety of the customer would be a priority. But it was not. We watched a snake line forming from the entrance of the store (within the hotel) curve around the left (meeting up to 2nd entrance/exit) where the one staff member was hustling and bustling to get food orders out (frozen packages taken out of a cart placed on the floor). The poor girl was in a zone; skillfully and meticulously unwrapping food, transporting it to the toaster oven then bagging it. To then walk from one end to the other to give out orders to a gathering of ppl waiting patiently and impatiently. An army of one as my husband called her. Looking around the store I realized the inefficient layout. Simply wrapping the line in the other direction seems to make more sense and having the customers wait where the food is being prepped. If there is a Starbucks in the city - we will be always there for coffee, plus we have a collection of small coffee cups from different places in the world and decided to buy one from Niagara Falls as well. It seemed a bit expensive as long as we have checked the prices the day before in another Starbucks shop and imagine our disappointment when it appeared to be true: s Starbucks shop put their own prices on the small coffee cups. To be more clear actually, there is usually a price on every product, so prices on these ones were torn away. We paid the price and received the receipt of course however this is definitely not the standard...

I was told, because it's owned by the hotel, they chose not to participate in the rewards program! ⚠️ So we will go to another location from now on! There wasn't a line today, which was great! We ordered 2 Venti Mocha Frappuchinos, one with an extra shot of espresso, and they tasted so different! Mine had way more chocolate in it than his did. And that usually happens, one is different taste wise and it's very noticible! But, still very yummy! We got some ground espresso beans also, and the price seems a bit high, but, worth it. I mix espresso into the regular coffee first thing in the morning, and it makes for that...
