My family and I fell in love with Thai food 23 years ago thanks to an incredible restaurant in Pittsburgh called Thai Cuisine. I've never found a place close to that first experience until this evening. I was only able to try one dish -- the Gaeng Keow Wan / Green Curry.
It. Was. Fantastic. The curry has an incredible blend of flavors, and the tofu (so good!) and veggies are cooked very well. Some of the chicken was a little tough, but that did not detract from the rest of the dish.
The people who cook and serve are lovely, kind, and attentive.
While I enjoyed dining in, be aware that it's not air conditioned, and there are only a few tables. It seems most of their business is take-out.

My recommendations: Panang with chicken, fried tofu, and a thai iced tea. Their house special fried rice (basil rice) is also exceptional if you want to swap that out instead of getting the Panang.
The food is pricey, but portions are HUGE and the quality is beyond exceptional!
ThaiYada is easily one of my top 3 favorite restaurants that I've ever been to in and out of the country. Highly...
