Bellos Mexican Grill — Restaurant in City of White Plains

I thought this place was pretty darn good. I see that it has a 3.8 overall review and I was a little concerned when we came in at lunch time and no one was there.

I thought the food was good. It was fresh tasting, the portions were plentiful and the chips and salsa were excellent (and you know that I think it all starts with the chips and salsa)

The side salas were good and the server was very attentive.

Is this your typical food service Mexican? I would say no. Is this your typical Tex-Mex, I would say no as well.

I think this is pretty semi authentic Mexican food that is a little different than the beaten path we're used to here in the United States.

I would recommend going here if you're looking for a little something different, and I don't hesitate with recommending you try out this...

Went for cinco de Mayo with my girls. Our food had no flavor couldn’t taste the chorizo nor the chicken . My friends enchiladas was watery and soggy. We went in at 7:30 and didn’t get food till 9:10pm. Everyone around us got their food they even got complimentary water and chips and dip while my table got nothing. We had to call a server to help us so we never had a MAIN server. Servers would look at us and just walk passed us despite me asking for the chips, napkins etc. it wasn’t until I asked another table if their chips was complimentary that someone came over after an hour and a half of already sitting there with an empty table. Even asked for a manager to fix our bill and they said there wasn’t a manager available yet I watched the woman with the PINK shirt hiding behind the servers....

BEWARE Do not eat the food here NOT EVEN YOUR CHILDREN PLEASE . The amount of oil you will consume is concerning . I ordered chicken fingers and fries for my son while our party had some drinks from the moment I saw that plate I knew my son will not touch it. The fries were drenched in oil they were soggy the chicken awfully burnt I tried it and spit it right out it was so old and nasty from someone who works in hospitality I couldn’t believe this will be served to a table and a child at that. We ended up canceling the rest of our food orders and closing our tab for the drinks we did not feel comfortable eating there the server was understanding and nice seemed like it wasn’t something new sad that the food lacks the whole experience of...
