Qosqo Inka Peruvian Restaurant — Restaurant in City of White Plains

I highly recommend this restaurant. Service is excellent and my waiter was extremely attentive and accommodating of my party of 6 throughout the whole stay. We ordered 2 Jalea dishes for the table, although 1 would have been more than enough as an appetizer for us all but we all loved it way too much. The portions are filling so be prepared to take leftovers home if that’s a route you take. I also recommend trying their homemade chocoflan for dessert, it is a perfect mixture of decadent chocolate cake with Peruvian inspired flan combined. Overall my experience was more than 5 stars if I could rate it that way.

As a Peruvian myself, I am glad to see Peruvian restaurants are being amplified in the city of White Plains but I can say this joint is the only one I’ll keep coming back to....

I was excited to try this food chain because I saw how many “amazing” reviews it had and I am a foodie so what can I say?

So I decided to stop by with my boyfriend after work one night and although I can honestly say I was feeling hopeful with this restaurant, we just felt that the food just did not live up to the ratings it’s received. Not only did my chicken lack seasoning but it also came out cold and tasted as if it had been reheated. I also didn’t appreciate that the waitress was on her phone while on the job even though we were trying to get her attention numerous times.

Service was fast and the food was straight fire from the sides, to the main, to the dessert. The pollo a la brasa was moist and tender, very flavorful and the spicy sauce that it came with complimented it very well. The salad was also a great compliment and made with fresh ingredients. The owners were extremely kind and had great personalities. This was my first time ever having pollo a la brasa and this place did not let me down. My 2 friends and I ordered a whole chicken and finished everything. That's how good it was! And just when you thought it couldn't get any better, we had the chocolate tres leches for dessert and it was just icing on the cake.
