Caffeinated Bakery — Restaurant in Clearwater

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!

My fiancé and I came across Caffeinated! Bakery while researching coffee shops/bakery’s and we made the 30+ minute walk with our nearly 5 month old boy. It was much hotter and humid than we had anticipated (we are also from Maine) so by the time we arrived my fiancé was close to passing out from the heat and our little guy was uncomfortable as well. Long story short, it was well worth the journey!!

As we walked in the owners quickly began treating us like family - offering water, cups of ice, and even went the extra mile and brought out a fan that they setup at our table. The coffee was delicious (we did iced/cold brew of course) and we split two breakfast sandwiches one on a bagel with sausage and the other bacon on a homemade scone and both were VERY good. They also have a number of mouth watering homemade baked goods and we grabbed a double chocolate muffin which we inhaled in seconds leaving nothing but crumbs behind. Just try and get there early as these treats do go fast!

We honestly can’t say enough great things about Caffeinated! Bakery and the quality of the service we received along with amazing food. This was by far the best experience we’ve had during our visits to Clearwater Beach. You truly feel like you are family when you visit and we can’t wait to go back. Thank you...

The staff working were friendly and parking was available for a small fee across the street. It was not busy when we arrived 2 cafe tables outside were empty as well as one table for 4 inside. My daughter ordered an ice latte, my husband ordered an iced latte and a double chocolate muffin. I ordered a medium hot, black coffee and an apple cranberry scone. All three coffees were terrible. There wasn’t any flavor. My daughter and I threw our drinks away with more than 3/4 of the drink remaining. The scone wasn’t a scone. A scone has some height to it. Please refer to the photo included. It was more of a flat bread that was incredibly dry. Yes, I know that scones are on the dry side, but this was awful. The apples and cranberries had no flavor either. After a few attempts at trying to eat it, I just threw it away.

We came here based on the reviews we saw on Google. I’ve read where the owner asked for people to bring matters to her attention while in the shop. The store became very crowded after we ordered our food, otherwise...

Best breakfast sandwich on the island!! We’ve been coming here for almost a year to get coffee and nearly every day I’ll get some variation of their breakfast sandwich (my favorite has to be sausage egg and cheese on the croissant). Their coffee is really great and they have versatile options. However, today we were offered a new option of these breakfast tacos and OMG!! It’s clear they put a lot of thought and love into everything they serve and that’s not always super common. The tacos were filled with bacon, egg, cheese, and what seemed to be fresh tomatoes or salsa. The tacos didn’t last long enough for us to analyze but we will for sure be getting them again if they’re officially added to the menu. A walkable distance from many of the nearby hotels and rental properties and some indoor and outdoor seating. I would recommend this to my family but they aren’t here so instead I’m recommending...
