Even 1star is too much. Rude service , customer service doesn’t exist. Manager on duty tonight was totally unprofessional , me being told she don’t care about my money , time and feelings. Her name Ciara , Chiara , Kiara or whatever her name was - I didn’t even tried to remember because I’m trying to eliminate bad people , energy , situation once I’m on vacation.
They do not make refund ! We didn’t even left the store they told me can’t make refund ( I’ve payed in cash !!! )
No change ! My bill was $120.10 and if you don’t have exact cash amount they will round it and not give you YOUR MONEY , change back. Excuse - we don’t have any change - smallest bill is $1 bill. Then workers , owners - DONT TAKE CASH AS AN OPTION IF YOU STEAL OUR MONEY LIKE THIS. It’s all about respecting your customers , our money and to have your business and employee positions open and working. It’s about principal and respecting our money so you can get payed folks.
Rude cashiers. Rude managers. Rude staff and unprofessional not knowing about items and position in THEIR STORE. You will lose precious time searching for items and if you are lucky to find employee on the floor they will be helpless.
Unprofessional staff on the phones and talking to each other.
We , customers , MUST GO OUTSIDE AND BRING THEM CHANGE SO THEY WILL BE FUNCTIONAL AND OPERATING. RIDICULES. NON SENCE.
I PROVE TO THAT “manager” tonight that is some change in every other store ( since she told me I mean she lied to me that is common thing in Clearwater that stores don’t have any change ) and I’ve never in my life had this kind of experience.
Plenty other , cheaper stores btw and whit better quality , made in USA or Europe , same items for $1-2-5-10 cheaper than in this store. Try to avoid this store and save some money , time...
Read moreEdward Lehmann, Surf Style’s General Manager is not an asset to the Surf Style family. He is very unprofessional in his tone with customers. I purchased a $93.00 Penny brand skate board as a birthday gift for my 11 year old son on Wednesday 10-3-2012. I explained to the clerk that with a dozen colors, I wasn’t sure my son would like the color I choose for him. The clerk Brandon assured me that he would like it and if not I could exchange it or return it. On Saturday Oct 6th, I returned the UNUSED skateboard with my sale receipt (charged to Discover Card), because my son received a similar board from a relative. After braving the traffic to Clearwater Beach and paying for parking, I was met by a charming young sales clerk (not Brandon) who informed me that SURF STYLE policy: NO REFUNDS only exchange if with-in 7 days. That is not what I was told when I purchased the board. They told me it was clearly written on the receipt. It was. BUT, my final decision to purchase was based on my ability to return it if need be. You only get the written policy after your purchase. Too late. When I tried to return the Item it was in fact clearly written on a small sign. What store in today's economy does not refund an unused product? Somewhat understandable if it was used, or not in original packaging etc. The thing most upsetting to me was the GM's tone and attitude towards me, the customer. I will avoid this store at all costs and tell all my friends that it’s a tourist trap. After all, it is difficult to return a product when the customer has returned to Canada. Surf Style does not care about servicing local customers. AVOID THIS...
Read moreTerrible experience. Horrible costumer service. We walked in at 10:50 PM, they locked the doors behind us and told us that they were closing (they close at 11 PM) I picked out a few things quickly and wanted to pay. The total was around $28$. The cashier who was a very unfriendly girl asked for my ID when using my debit card. I told her that Visa and MasterCard prohibit merchants from requiring customer ID as a condition for accepting their credit or debit cards. All you need is a signed card, and of course the signatures must match... She said that it even says on the card that it's only valid with an ID. I gave her my Chase debit and asked her to please show it to me. She said that it was store policy. I looked at the printed policy but it didn't mention it. Anyways she wouldn't accept my form of payment this way, only cash... Cherry on the cake was that she wouldn't give me the right change back and when l dared to mention it, she made a face and gave my $2 back. Unbelievable! Stay away...
